We were in town for one night after a late basketball game and just needed a place to wash up and sleep. The hotel isn’t new, but it was clean. There was a slight stale smell when we first walked into the room, but I carry Lysol, and once I sprayed the surfaces and beds, it wasn’t noticeable anymore.
We used the washer ($2 per load) and tried the dryer, but the dryer didn’t work. The front desk refunded the $2 without any issue. There’s a washeteria about five minutes away, so we were able to dry our clothes there for much less.
The hotel itself was clean, and the ladies at check‑in were polite. Not much else stood out. Breakfast was basic—waffle maker, instant oatmeal, eggs, gravy, sausage, and a variety of breads and pastries. Overall, the hotel was fine. Nothing special, but it had the best price for what we needed for the night.
