The stay itself was decent; however, there were several issues that negatively impacted the experience. Guests were extremely loud throughout the night, which made it difficult to rest. More concerning was the lack of consideration shown to paying guests after checkout during a severe snowstorm.
Our stay ended during the worst part of the storm, with significant snow and ice making travel unsafe. Despite this, staff repeatedly pressured us to leave the building without offering any alternatives or consideration for the dangerous conditions. Being asked multiple times when we planned to leave while roads were clearly unsafe felt dismissive and unnecessary.
We fully intended to leave as soon as it was safe to do so, and the repeated attempts to rush us out of our rooms and off the property during an active snowstorm were both frustrating and unreasonable. A more compassionate and safety-focused approach would have made a significant difference. Now I don’t have a car anymore because I was pressured into leaving when it was very unsafe to do so thank you so much staybridge suites employee!
Also why were guests the ones shoveling the hotel property? Are there not designated individuals that are supposed to take care of that??
