We had selected the ADA room. The shower water did not hit the bench so the bench could not be used. The floor of the shower was extremely slippery and they did not provide a mat even when asked. The luggage racks that roll to the rooms were broken, and the key did not work.

Hello MarciaI am really sorry that you have a bad experience with us. Since we have not received any comment so far regarding the slippery floor at the ADA bathroom and we didn't have any mat for the floor but I will definitely get some for the future if someone request then we can provide. Room was dirty. Floor was not cleaned/vacuumed. There was sunflower seeds and wood chippings on side of bed.

Pool was not opened and it was 88 degrees and my 9 year old just wanted to swim other then that it was a good stay , clean great breakfast and quiet other then the pool it was a good stay

Very very nice hotel but the noise last night on the 3rd floor was unreal. People running & intentionally stomping on the floor all the way down and back up the hallway every few minutes till well after midnight and he first shower I took, the water would go down to a trickle then to full blast (which wasn’t powerful) & it would come & go the whole time. I was terrified I’d be covered in soap & the water would shut off. Sad to have complaints because it was a really really nice hotel.

My transportation (train from Emeryville) was cancelled within the 24-hour refund period. The person at the desk was not interested in talking about it. My cost was for nothing, and it wasn't my fault. I'll look elsewhere next time.

We can not cancel the third party reservation. Even we gave the guest option to use the credit for future reservation.

The room is very clean and in good condition, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The only downside is the noise from the upper floor.

Clean and comfortable
Clean, comfortable, and good service. The first floor rooms are recently renovated and perfect for a short stay with a small dog. Breakfast in the morning was just what we needed.

The room was both spacious and clean, meeting our expectations. The bed, with its firmness, suited our preferences, especially considering my husband's back issues. The linens were fresh, and the pillows struck a good balance, not being overly soft. The bathroom maintained a high standard of cleanliness, and the shower amenities, including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers, were adequately stocked with a commendable brand. However, our only challenge arose on our last night when it was difficult to sleep due to the noise from the room above, where children were running around throughout the night and early morning starting around 6:00 am. Despite the disturbance, we opted not to complain, understanding the challenges of managing children. Nevertheless, I hope that in the future, the management might consider assigning families with small children to ground-floor rooms to minimize such disruptions.

Perfect location on the way to Tahoe. Parking is free and easy. Check-in is very fast. Rooms are large and comfy. Gas stations are nearby before continuing our journey. Only minor drawback is that the types of restaurants are Colfax are a bit limited.

Property is new and clean. Location is convenient, close to gas, food, & freeway. Only downside, the building and flooring is not sound proff. We weren't able to sleep well from the noise of people upstairs.

The room was dirty. Some towels were dirty and it was obvious that they didn’t wipe the desk area. The beds were uncomfortable and very noisy/squeaky. We stayed on the first floor and the guests from upstairs and in the halls were very loud. When trying to call the front desk, the phone in the room didn’t work. The coffee was water and the machine didn’t work one morning.

All the beds are fairly new. We just check the phone in your room this work perfectly. We will definitely take care of the issue you have mentioned.
