Moon Family Vacation
We love this home !! There are 12 of us that vacation together each year . There is 2 kitchens, and 3 full baths plenty of room. We love the decks neighbors are vary nice, in a area that is kind of privet , if you like Antiques a short drive to Allen MI is a lot of fun . Lots of good places to eat , good fishing great boating all around Beautiful Experience !!!

Great, relaxing vacation!
House is comfortable, kitchen has everything you'd need. Might need to make a trip to the store for essentials if staying more than a couple days. Walmart, Aldis, Dollar General, Meijer nearby. The bathrooms/showers are wonderful. The beds were all comfortable. We rented a pontoon down the lake a ways and swam off of it. Around $200 a day... made for a fun day. No tubing, though... unless you have your own boat. Everyone enjoyed the kayaks as well. Paddle boat and canoe also available. Life jackets available. You can fish or swim off the dock. Huge sand box area that our grandson spent hours in with his dozers and trucks and the sand toys they provided. The deck was awesome for the littles... completely safe and fenced in. We mostly ate out there. It would be really nice to have some reclining options on the deck... hammock, recliners, a swing bed would be AMAZING. lol. We enjoyed the fire pit for s'mores as well.

2023 Fishing Vacation
We spent a week in this beautiful home, fishing, grilling, kayaking. Had a wonderful time. Our hostess was very nice and communication was easy and cheerful. The window air conditioner wasn't working upstairs and it was replaced with a new one ASAP. Loved the house, kitchen was stocked with everything you could think of. The wrap around balcony was wonderful and we spent many hours out there playing games and eating together! A wonderful vacation with all our family!!

Adams family Christmas 2022!
The property was beautiful. Loved how it was secluded with the cove next door. Plenty of room for the 7 of us. It was very cold so didn't really get to enjoy the snow, but had fun hanging with family. Playing games and eating. Watched a bunch of Christmas movies. All in all a good time was had.

Beds were comfortable. Plenty of room for our party of 10. Well equiped kitchen. Nice to have water toys (rafts, lifejackets and kayaks) to use. Easy communication and quick response from host. Make sure to read the check list for all the essential items YOU need to bring ...bath towels, trash bags, TP, salt and pepper, etc.....we had to run to the store!

Beautiful Lakefront home
The house was very clean and as pictures showed. There was plenty of room even with our large group. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen well supplied. The owner was very responsive and a joy to work with. It was a beautiful setting. Everyone enjoyed being right on the lake and made use of the paddle boat and kayaks. We would definitely recommend this property. It felt secluded but only a short distance away from town, which made it very convenient.

Wonderful home away from home
This house was amazing. I am a travel dialysis technician and was able to travel with my husband and two boys. We stayed here for3 months. Though I was working 6 days a week 60-70 hours and during the winter months ,I truly did not get a chance to utilize the property.. We even got permission to have our service dog stay with us, as one of my sons has a medical disability. . She only charged us $100 a month pet fee and we are grateful. I never went down stairs as it was too cold and musky , but it is a lake house and it was the winter .

Wonderful Large House
The house is large with more than ample amenities. The kitchen was well equipped including 2 coffee makers, crockpots, toaster, other small appliances, and high-end cookware. There was enough silverware and dishes (matching!) to only require using the dishwasher once each day…and there were eleven people in our group. The location was perfect which provided beautiful lakefront views as well as 20 minute round-trips to the nearest grocery stores. The owner was great at communicating and responded to my emails and phone calls within minutes. Our 94 year old mother could easily navigate her walker from one room to the next and the main floor bedroom and bathroom were perfect. I highly recommend this property!

Amazing!!
This is my family's second time staying here and we had a wonderful time yet again! The house is beautiful and the views are amazing! We had so much fun just sitting out on the deck watching the boats on the water. My 2yr old nephews amused themselves simply running all over the deck so it is great that it is completely enclosed and they couldn't get away from the adults. My whole family just had so much fun and we look forward to coming back in the future!

Lake retreat with family
Every year my step son and grandkids come from out of state. We are able to gather with him, his children, his mother and her husband, his best friend and his brothers. We were so pleased to find a house large enough to comfortably hold all of us. Additional friends and family were also able to stop in for shorter visits. It was lovely to have 2 kitchen spaces available! The group spent so much time on the covered deck. What an amazing spot for morning coffee! Most of us also spent a great deal of time in the water. It was so helpful that there was a paddle boat, a canoe and a kayak available. There were also plenty of life jackets available. The host was easy to reach and quickly answered a couple questions that came up. We all had such a wonderful time! Thank you!

Thoroughly enjoyable week
The house was exactly what my family needed. The six total bedrooms fit our family of 8 adults and 6 children perfectly. The wrap around main floor deck is wonderful. It has 2 ceiling fans with dimmer lights and was perfect for sitting and looking out at the lake during meals. We were blessed with great weather so we spent a lot of time lounging on the large grass lawn watching as the kids jumped off the dock or spent time on the paddle boat. The area had a terrible storm the previous week and the whole house generator provided the entire house with power for our first 3 days until the power came back on. We rented a pontoon for a week from the Narrows Resort at the other end of the lake. Although many reviews stated the fishing was good, we didn’t have much luck. If there was any negative, it would be that the lake was very high in algie as large plooms of algie were floating throughout the lake. Locals had told us the hot weather this year was the cause and it normally wasn’t this bad. We were able to take out the pontoon to the middle and use life jackets and floats to enjoy the lake. I must also note that Rosemary was the most responsive and caring host I have ever dealt with. Anytime I messaged her, she got back to me within minutes and never more than an hour. All in all, we would definitely recommend this property if you are looking for a well kept, clean, well stocked and roomy house for a large group. Thank you Rosemary, we had a ball! John Perini

Memories Made
This is a beautiful property that accommodated our family of 14 ranging in age from 6 to 62. The whole property invoked a sense of peace and restfulness. The common rooms and the 6 bedrooms were spacious. Kitchen was well stocked for any cook. The grandchildren enjoyed the pool table. The lake access was good and docks clean. One item that saved our vacation was the whole house generator. There was a storm system that downed wires in the area. You wouldn't have known the generator was on except for the hum of the unit. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

Perfect Lake Getaway
This is the perfect location and property for a family getaway. Our large family of all ages had plenty to do inside and out. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board, the kids spent lots of time fishing off the dock and playing in the sandbox, and we all enjoyed meals on the balcony. The kitchen is the most well equipped of any property I’ve ever stayed in, we cook everything from scratch and had all the tools and equipment we needed!

Family Fun despite COVID
One bedroom was unusable due to strong musty smell, however, we did not need that one; main floor closet also smelled horrible, thus the only reason for the 4 instead of 5 on cleanliness, and we noted from the journal there had been a flood recently. That was the only "bad". My family ages 5-81, loved the space inside & outside despite cooler weather. The southside of the deck allowed great views of the sunset (there is yellow-jacket nest there, but didn't bother me). Glad for the 2 kitchen areas. Pool table & available boats were bonuses. We want to return during summertime to have more water fun. We all appreciated the home and decks. Thank-you to Rosemary, who always responded quickly.

Great Stay Great Owner
Before we even got to the property, the owner let us know that the previous guests had flooded the basement. We let her know that it was probably worse than she had originally been told and she did everything within her power to make it right. We are VERY pleased with our stay and Rosemary's dedication to making our stay the best it could be! Rosemary was great and we would recommend her property in an instant!

Wonderful!!!
M family and I had such a great time here! The house is beautiful and spacious. We loved the enclosed deck and enjoyed many meals there! The yard was big and the kiddies loved the sandbox. The water was too cold to swim, but we rented a boat and having the dock right at the house was definitely a bonus. We even fished right off the dock and caught a few! We had a great time and already talking about coming back next year!!!

Amazing lake house and covered deck!
The covered deck made the stay that much more amazing! We had a rainy day and we were still able to be outdoors and stay dry. All of the finishes and furniture are modern and comfortable. We had 8 adults in the home and everyone raved about the comfort of the beds. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you could possibly need. Can’t wait to stay again during the summer and enjoy lake activities as well.

lake house family retreat
We truely enjoyed our family time at the lake house. There was something for everyone. The sandbox kept the grandkids entertained. Relaxing getaway
My husband and I booked this house for a family vacation with our adult children/grandchildren and we had about 10 adults and one toddler. The house was fantastic, perfect for our needs. It was clean and well furnished and we had plenty of room. The lower floor was perfect for the 20-30 year olds to hang out and play pool after the "old folks" went to bed. My favorite place was the huge wraparound deck, which features a vaulted ceiling with fans. It was wonderful. The view of the lake was beautiful. The lake itself was a bit weedy for swimming, but the fishing was fantastic! The kayaks, canoe and paddleboat were fun. Communication with the owner was great. I would highly recommend this property.

Would definitely rent again!
We had the best time at this home! It was 90+ outside and we could barely sit outside, so without the new covered porch and ceiling fans, we probably would have been inside a lot more.. Instead we were always outside and able to enjoy the view. The deck is huge and amazing! We had teenagers and they felt like they had a their own place with the basement. It was perfect for the kids. They came up for food and to go on the lake. We rented a pontoon boat from the Narrows, which I highly recommend. They were super nice and I couldn’t image not having the boat. The kids also enjoyed the kayaks and the canoe. It was so very nice and peaceful! Communication with the owners we quick and easy. We would definitely stay here again, anytime!

Family Getaway
This property was as listed, and the owner was prompt in communication and easy to work with. The house was very clean - especially a concern during COVID-19. The space was perfect for our family of 12. Plenty of room to cook, store food, play games, and to spread out on those few rainy afternoons. Our family really enjoyed the lake access and the grandkids had great fun in the sand play area. We spent many hours and ate all of our meals on the beautiful covered deck. We would recommend this property for large families and would stay here again.

I lived here during a 6 week clinical rotation, and I could not have asked for a better experience. Gorgeous, clean, neat house with an awesome view of the South Lake. Check in and check out was very easy, and Rosemary was always quick to respond to anytime I reached out to her. I highly suggest if you are staying in the area!

Christmas in Michigan
Our family decided to try something different this year for Christmas so we rented this property for six days over the holiday. The house was clean and supplied everything we needed for our stay. Over the six days we had a total of 13 friends and family either stay or visit us and everyone had a great time. The kitchen was well equipped so we made all our food right there. We had beautiful weather so we were able to spend time on the large deck that overlooks the huge lake. We brought in a real Christmas tree and it worked out perfect. Thank-you for a wonderful holiday stay. Everything was great. Maybe a summer stay to take advantage of the lake will be next.
