Total garbage.
We booked a two-night stay at the Days Inn by Wyndham Cocoa through Expedia. After seeing the property, we decided to leave after one night. Unfortunately, we were told the second night could not be canceled because the reservation was made through Expedia. The hotel told us to deal with Expedia, and Expedia provided zero assistance. I honestly had no idea this kind of situation could happen.
Now, let’s talk about the experience.
We went up to the first room… LOL. It had to be the rent-by-the-hour room (see pictures). From the mattress, to the walls, doors, carpet, and even the outside of the room — OMG.
We immediately went back downstairs to try to cancel and at least get a different room for the one night we were staying. That’s when we learned we couldn’t cancel.
We did get another room.
No joke — that room was worse, but came with the complimentary extra-strength smoke smell (Cuban, I believe). That sent us right back to the first room, which suddenly felt like the lesser of two evils.
And the pool was shut down.
The ladies at the front desk were… a treat — with less-than-awesome attitudes. I’ll leave it at that, because they aren’t the owners (or maybe they are). They probably deal with this situation constantly.
Other highlights:

• The entire time we were there, the background soundtrack was basically:

Worst experience ever.
