«We really loved this motel. Our room was perfect. Comfortable bed and two chairs to sit in with a small table between them. Such a treat to not have to have one person sit on the bed. We had a front porch with two chairs, and a back patio with two chairs, small table, and lovely pond, complete with a Mama Mallard and babies. We are porch people and really enjoyed this feature. «Staff made up of family was very friendly and took the time to answer questions about local restaurants and to find me a spare blanket. Rooms are like what you find in a bed and breakfast. Big front porch with rocking chairs for guests. Nice breakfast layout. Outdoor fire pit. Very nice.»

«The room was filthy. There was chunks of mud on the floor. The shower had hair left in it. My son and I refused to walk around without shoes. There was a broken outlet right by the bed so we weren’t able to charge our phones. In the morning, starting at 9am we got knocks from housekeeping repeatedly until finally after the 4th occurrence I opened the door in my pajamas. Nothing was landscaped and the windows were unlocked.»

«We absolutely loved our stay at the Rockland Talbot House. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was very, very comfortable. The property is a beautiful, well kept house from the 1800's with lots of character and original pieces. The Inn has a wonderful coffee machine with hot lattes, cereal, oatmeal, muffins and other pastries for breakfast as well as fresh fruit, juices and yogurt. «Everything was very nice. Everyone was very pleasant. The only thing I will say unfortunately the screen on our sliding door blew off during the windstorm we were there the weekend. It was very foggy about a week ago, and when you walked in to the building the hallway kind of reminded me of a con bless in Home smell in our room was a very musty smell, but otherwise the day was fine. «We loved our stay - unfortunately the rooftop was under maintenance so we couldn't use it. The level of service was outstanding though as my daughters left something in their room, and the staff quickly advised and then posted it back to us free of charge.»
