«This venue supported our first family reunion since 1992 and it was so good to us. Some spent the night very well accommodated. Some day tripped. «Wonderful base of operations for our days into Baxter State Park (highly recommended). Wonderful views out over the lake. We enjoyed hearing the calls of the loons in the evening and overnight.Heating the place can be a little awkward (there’s a Heat & Glo) gas fireplace with a heated air fan that serves this purpose (better than I expected) and portable electric radiators for the upstairs bedrooms if needed. There’s no TV and no central air but honestly that’s part of the point - and neither ...
