Pros: Location of hotel is great if you are attending an event at the convention center. Bed and linens/towels are clean. Cons: Most outlets don't work for plug-ins. Walked in to check in and had to stand for a few minutes before someone came out - she didn't say hi or anything, I had to announce that I was checking in which was weird and rude. There's what looks like blood splatter on the desk lamp. Restaurant has limited hours and is closed "indefinitely" for sit-in dining. All fixtures, plumbing and furniture are dated/broken/cracked/dusty/etc. (I can see skin flakes between the TV remote buttons). Definitely not what I expected from a Hyatt.

Our room showed its age. The shower curtain was torn around one of the mounting rings. The deadbolt on the door did not engage due to misalignment of the door and frame. The refrigerator cabinet doors did not close properly. There was no blanket on the bed, or anywhere in the room. The bed covers consisted of a bottom sheet and two top sheets.

The wifi stioped working during my stay. In room phones didn't work either. Despite this, the hotel is pretty convenient to the airport and train station so I do like that. I do like they have a little restaurant / bar which made decideling where to eat easier. I wish they had more choices but it's decent.

The parking had to be paid for which was nopt right as well as no free breakfast where the site I booked the room at said free breakfast. The Payment of 50.00 for incidentals was ridiculous and the room was OVER PRICED. Just absolutely terrible. I am very disapointed with this hotel and will relay the message and most likely never stay there again at any of your hotels! AWFUL EXPERIANCE!!

$25 charge for parking is outrageous! I know this is Chicago where everything is expensive. However, my stay was only 12 hours and that is like paying $50. Even if i stayed longer 3pm to checkout at 11am $25 is still price gouging! Parking is not secure, other than covered parking cost should be prorated for time of stay (12 hrs x $1.25= $15).

My room on the 6th floor faced the casino across the street. For being in a busy area, my room was very quiet. Even though it is a weeknight I expected to hear the usual sounds from other guests in the hallway. I heard nothing. Overhead flight traffic into O’Hare was minimal. The room was clean and modern. Full size bottles of Pharmacopia brand body wash, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion were provided in addition to a wrapped bar of soap. As other reviewers have noted a microwave is not in the guest room, only a small refrigerator and a single cup coffeemaker similar to a Keurig. Many reviewers have complained about the hotel’s lack of transparency about the price of overnight parking in the City of Rosemont’s parking ramp next to the hotel. I prepaid my hotel room on Expedia. I went to the Hyatt app before booking through Expedia to ensure I clearly understood the prices. I knew I would be asked at check in to put a $50 deposit for damages on my credit card. This is standard practice so I don’t understand why this upsets people. The front desk staff told me that the $25 fee for overnight parking in the parking ramp will be taken from my $50 deposit. Great! I don’t have to swipe my card again. Easy. Plus, $25 for covered overnight parking is a bargain around here. Given the need to stay overnight near O’Hare in the future, I would stay at this Hyatt again.
