My stay was so calm and comfortable, but another aspect of my visit stood out so much more. Nasima is the most wonderful person, let alone hotel staff member. She read my body language and knew I was experiencing the loss of a loved one (specifically, my mother), and she quickly stepped in and did all she could to make accommodations not only for my stay, but for my emotional state. I will be forever grateful to her, and I so appreciate this company’s competency in hiring quality human begins to work for them.

The room was quite nice. Sufficiently spacious, well-appointed, in excellent condition. Hallways are somewhat dim, dreary and worn. Biggest complaint - we were there for 3 nights, and there was no housekeeping service. We brought this to the attention of the desk staff twice, but nothing was done.

Thank you for telling us about your stay. We appreciate you letting us know about the front desk as our staff tries to make all guests feel as comfortable as possible. We agree the view is great. On cloudless sunny days it's like you're in Chicago.....but without all the traffic.

I stayed here for 8 days. Interruption of water supplies caused me to change rooms abruptly. At first I don't understand from the front desk and just hope they can resume water supplies on next day; but the front desk is a bit impolite and said: "you are not listening to me, I said... blah blah blah." I just expected Holiday Inn's brand has courtesy and helpful service but it is not. Compared with my last stay in Hotel Garden Inn by Hilton, it was much better. Luckily the breakfast is just 10 USD and it is nice.

For my visit with my family, this was convenient. The room was comfortable, a good size, and convenient to downtown Evanston. The only gripe was that there was a charge for breakfast, although at $ 10 it was reasonable.

Toilet did not work, I called asking for indoor pool and they said they have one, yes they do, but it’s outside and it was closed. I paid breakfast through Expedia option and I was charged at the hotel.

My last visit to this property was absolutely terrible. No sleep first night loud people all night long on both sides. 2nd night 4 families on my floor together allowed their kids to run up and down the hall in between rooms screaming and slamming doors. They moved up to a higher floor and I was woke up by drunk guests wandering up and down the hallway and a party going on down the hall. I called front desk and they sent some little old man "security" to knock on door and tell them there was a noise complaint. It didnt phase them. I could look out my peephole and see drunk people wandering around with drinks in hand even stopped in front of my door. I did not feel safe. Parking garage is nasty dirty and the door to get in with your luggage is inconvenient with your hands full. I stayed here because it was a convenient location, however the service is terrible if you need a hood night of sleep.
