ACME was perfect for my stay. My room was quaint but stylish. The rate was reasonable. The bakery next door served a nice ice coffee. The area is fantastic, just off of Michigan Ave & around the corner from the Red Line which gave me access to Wrigley Field for the Cubs game. Chicago is my favorite “walking” city & ACME was a fantastic launch pad. I’d stay again.

It was a renovated building with both character and class. Appreciate the architecture and historical nature of the property. It had very adequate sized rooms - certainly limited in size due to the constraints of the “period of time” nature of the building, yet very well designed and functional. Not your typical hotel property, but unique in a “good way”. Would definitely recommend for adults, but perhaps not an ideal property for families with young children.

Loved the decor & area staff very kind and helpful - my complaint if that me room was never cleaned, trash emptied, or towels refreshed evev tho I spevifficaly left verbal request with staff at the front desk.

A hotel in the heart of Chicago downtown, located in historical building. Walking distance to all main attractions - first 3 days didn't use public transportation at all. Very nice staff, especially Michael at the reception was very helpful with making an upgrade to suit and giving directions on how to get around. Will definitely recommend this hotel. The only thing - it would be good to have a kettle and some plates and forks in the suit, as it has a kitchennette but no cutlery. Other than that all is good.

Alles in allem ein Top Hotel. Etwas hellhörig. Was nur gefehlt hat, war ein gemütliche Empfangshalle. Ansonsten alles sauber, nettes Personal, super Lage, Parkhaus nebenan (Parkticket kann man abstempeln lassen, Kosten pro Nacht 40$) Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Zimmerreinigung kann man täglich haben, oder auch nach Absprache. Uns reichte es alle 2 Tage.

Great location but other than that there was hair in the shower when we checked in. The table in the room looked like it had not been cleaned. Very dark and depressing decor.

Very unique hotel with great staff! There are limited food options in hotel but it’s downtown Chicago. Walk a block in any direction for anything you need. Highly recommended

Place is in a perfect location, if u go to the Casino they will comp your parking if you get a players card and play a little bit! Lobby Office was opened at checkin and looked completely unorganized! Rooms are not ready until exactly 3pm and downstairs bar and restaurants do not open until 5pm! Bartenders hanging out in bar during day but u have to go elsewhere until 5pm! Rooms are suites with living room and separate bedroom! I liked the room!

Very confused on reading past good reviews on this hotel as we found it unappealing with far nicer hotels available close by for similar money (Arlo). First and foremost the staff, what can I say! We have traveled through much of the States and I’m sorry to say the staff on check in here made us feel so unwelcome. Our room (standard) was looking out on a black wall. You didn’t know if it was day or night. I don’t recommend staying here. Far better in Chicago honestly. A big disappointment. Go elsewhere.

Me gustó el área y que está cerca del transporte. Es la segunda vez que me hospedo aquí y la experiencia no fue la misma, ya que la atención del personal fue regular y no obtuve ningún beneficio como lo decía en la aplicación de Expedia. La ocasión anterior me dieron una habitación más grande Creo que es importante dar mantenimiento a la propiedad, ya que las alfombras estaban muy sucias, el piso muy desgastado y además de que no tenía ventilación, por lo que siempre estuvo muy húmeda la habitación.

This is a cute boutique property but it's dated and in need of being refreshed. The bar is not owned by the hotel so they literally don't care about being helpful. I was confused as to where the elevator was because it's not obvious because it all blends in due to the decor so I asked the gentleman that was literally standing at a podium in front of the elevator and he could care less about helping me. This happened in total 3 x with different bar staff. I asked the front desk why this was, and they just rolled their eyes stating no love betwéen the hotel and bar. Keep in mind this is a very small property so why the disconnect when it comes to being helpful to the guests! That being said, the bar food was blah and the drinks are maybe 3 oz and $$$. They could update the TVs so they stream instead of only cable channels which was very limited. The location is great with lots of great places to eat and shop... don't be scared to go to the Webber Grill restaurant on the corner for happy hour! Excellent prices and delish ribs! I would not stay at this property again due to price, disconnect between the restaurant/bar staff and lack of amenities.
