I reserved a suite for two nights on 12/26/25. Almost 2 months in advance. When I arrived the check-in girl said that she downgraded my room to a double because they were overbooked and since I only two people in my group she gave my suite to a party with 4 people because they needed more room than me. (Literally what was said) So, I was penalized for someone else booking late. She gave no thought that I was booked 2 nights & they only 1 night. When I asked about that she told me well I could just move for the 2nd day, which was not possible since the tournament was all day. The rest of the team were all assigned rooms on the 3rd floor but we were assigned the 2nd floor. Our room was in a corridor surrounded by a bunch of men who were staying in town working on a nearby power plant. As confirmed by muddy work boots left outside their doors. A guy across from us was knocking on the door over and over at 2am for someone to let him into their room. The room next to us played tv loud until past 1am. The 2nd evening, a group of men were standing in the hallway right in front of our door talking loudly which was very uncomfortable and intimidating for a single women & teen girl. It was very unthoughtful of the hotel to assign us that section of the hotel AND not notify us in advance of the change so we could have made alternative arrangements. The two perks of the hotel were: 1) proximity to Washington College where my daughter’s game was and 2) the staff were really nice
