Welcome to charming Skylake Cottage in Lake Chelan! This modern and cozy retreat is the perfect place to call home during your next trip to Washington wine country. The cottage is ideally located steps away from the year-round heated Vineyard pool and hot tub. In addition, you are steps away down is the marina shuttle, and the Vin Du Lac winery and bistro. Skylake Cottage is designed as a gathering place for couples, groups of friends, and families with children. Cozy up with a cup of coffee or a glass of local wine and enjoy your evening by the fire on the porch. Stay longer and settle into work from anywhere at the two desks tucked away in the bedrooms. Unwind outside in the private hot tub or enjoy dinner outdoors by the fire table.
On the main floor, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could think of. The large gas range, double oven, and BBQ provide ample options to prepare the perfect meal. The dedicated ice maker and wine cooler are ready to cool your cocktails and wine. The great room closet is stocked with games and puzzles for all ages. The 55’’ Frame TV over the indoor/outdoor fireplace, and gigabit wifi, ensure you can enjoy your favorite entertainment in 4K.
At Skylake Cottage you will find plenty of outdoor spaces to gather and enjoy with friends or family. The wraparound porch features overhead heaters, rocking Adirondack chairs, an outdoor fireplace, and a fully folding Lacantina doorway connecting the great room to the outside. In the back, there is a hot tub with seating for seven, a gas-powered fire pit table, a BBQ, and a picnic table. The kitchen windows allow for passing food or drinks to the backyard space.
Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms and a bunkroom with premium Casper mattresses. The main bedroom, with an abundance of natural light, has a queen four-post bed and a writing desk with a private en suite bathroom with a custom-designed shower. If needed, a printer, monitor, and dock are hidden away in the closet. The hallway bedroom also features a writing desk. The bunkroom, with a queen/twin bed, is set up for entertainment with a Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Wii, Switch, and Xbox One with plenty of games.
At The Lookout, within walking distance, you will find two community pools, one is heated year-round and features a large hot tub. There are also community wood-burning fire pits, a pickleball court, a kids' playground, a private marina, and a lakeside.
Skylake Cottage features dedicated parking for two cars with room for more in the overflow area. Up to two house-trained, non-shedding, adult dogs under 30 pounds are welcome to stay.
