Welcome to our charming 2-bedroom, 1-bath historic home nestled in the heart of St. Elmo, Chattanooga`s most picturesque and vibrant neighborhood. Steeped in history and character, our home offers a unique blend of vintage elegance and modern comfort, promising you a memorable stay that captures the essence of this beloved community. Located within close proximity to Downtown Chattanooga and Lookout Mountain this is the perfect location for exploring all Chattanooga has to offer!



Step inside and be transported to a bygone era, where original hardwood floors, exposed brick accents, and period details create an ambiance of warmth and nostalgia. The living room, bathed in natural light, invites you to relax on the plush sofas while enjoying a good book or sharing stories with loved ones.



The fully equipped kitchen pays homage to the past with its retro aesthetic, while offering all the conveniences of the present – perfect for whipping up a home-cooked meal or savoring your morning coffee. Adjacent to the kitchen, a dining area beckons with its antique table, providing an intimate setting for memorable meals.



Two thoughtfully curated bedrooms offer a restful retreat after a day of exploring. Check in day we had trouble getting in and the padded lock wouldnt let us in. We sent Carrie and Yellow Door a message. Within 5 minutes we had a phone call from them and were in the house! We thought it would be an hour at least before we heard from anyone. The house was absolutely amazing. The beds were so comfortable and the house was decorated so well. Carrie and her team get it. They truly are great and easy to work with! We look forward to staying with them again in the future!

Carrie’s place was everything we needed and more. The detail and decor in the house was amazing, it was fully stocked with everything we needed, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and having a TV in every room was a bonus. After a day of site seeing, we looked forward to going home to relax and hang out for the evening in this beautiful home. Carrie was a pleasure to deal with and her response time was very fast. When I say that this house is perfect in every way, I mean exactly that!My best friend and I stayed for the weekend and it was exactly as described online - beautifully appointed, gorgeously and comfortably decorated and felt just like home.Carrie was so very attentive when answering my questions and responded so quickly - something I’m not used to! She made everything from checking to check out a breeze. And, when I tell you that we were both impressed with how comfortable the beds were, I’m not joking - I literally checked to see what type it is and ordered one for my own home! The sheets were soft, the mattress was the comfiest I’ve ever slept on and we couldn’t be happier with this home.We’ve already decided that we want to meet up in Chattanooga more than once a year and will definitely stay here again. The whole town of St. Elmo is just beautiful and the food we had was terrific. This rental is where it’s at - from sitting on the front porch, to walking to the store, to the nice hot shower and comfortable sofa, you’ll be glad you booked with Carrie!!

I would highly recommend staying at carrie’s bungalow! It’s conveniently located and was the perfect size for my husband and I to enjoy a weekend away with our 1 year old son. Very clean, comfortable beds, and great communication!

We loved our stay, very clean!! We did have a minor hiccup,not a big deal. Carrie always answered my questions speedily. Our dogs enjoyed their stay also. The decor was amazing. I enjoyed looking around at all the things that were in the cabinets and on shelves. We didn't use the porch as much as I thought we would, mainly because of the weather. We took in many of the attractions and I would definetly recommend The Feed Co. Table & Tavern. The food was delicious and the service was great.

Absolutely Beautiful. This bungalow was so incredibly charming. It was beautifully decorated and the overall charm of the house made you feel at home. The location is beyond excellent. We were able to get to everything so easily. The home has everything plus more and the communication with the host was amazing. We even made friends with the neighbor. Our favorite part was the front porch. We spent so much time just relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet. It was such a great escape from the hustle of life. I would highly recommend staying here. We absolutely loved our get away time here.

July 4th stay

My friend and I had a nice stay at the bungalow. It was clean and the host left a lot of nice touches throughout. The screened-in front porch is perfect in the morning. The couch and beds were very comfortable. The place is super convenient to the Rock City / Ruby Falls area, as well as downtown Chattanooga. The house is off of a busy road so it can be a little noisy but it didn't bother us much as the neighborhood is generally quiet.

Beautiful decor!

The house was so lovely inside and had a great screened in porch! Really appreciated the thought put into the decor - we enjoyed it very much. We stayed just a few days but would have been very comfortable for a longer stay. Had a couple issues but the host was very quick to respond and remedy. Highly recommend!

Short summer stay

The house was super cute. Great location, very clean and easy check in. Loved the screened front porch. Stayed here for just a few days. Used the kitchen which was stocked with all we needed. Went on several hikes that were short drives from the home. Visited during 90 degree hot spell, thankfully nice ac and ceiling fans to cool us off. Would stay again.

I hope that the property owner is an interior designer because it would be a shame not to share such talent with others. Great place to stay. On a somewhat busy street so occasional noise from traffic. But, overall for location and sheer beauty, would stay there again.

Beautiful Historic Home in St. Elmo

My family had a wonderful, relaxed time staying in this beautifully maintained home. It was beautifully decorated in French provincial style and was very comfortable. The hosts provided numerous amenities including coffee maker, coffee pods and tea. It was the perfect home base for exploring the area with our daughter.

St Elmo is Awesome

It’s like stepping back in time and having all the modern amenities. We enjoyed riding bikes and walking the neighborhood. We were able to ride into downtown Chattanooga with a 8mile bike ride in a safe bike lane, bike/jogging path along the river. Amazing!! The host team, led by Carrie were wonderful. Timely responses, friendly, and helpful. We loved it!!
