This entire home, is only a few years old & fully furnished. A great place to call home for any amount of time. It is conveniently located in St Elmo on the side of Lookout Mtn, in a central part of Chattanooga, close to everything! Please keep in mind this is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home with 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms and is an entire home with fenced in backyard complete with 4 patios. The views are incredible under the canopy of trees of Lookout Mountain.
The space:
You will have access to the entire top and bottom floors. This includes the master bedroom, with a king bed and a couch, walk-in closet, and en suite bathroom with soaker tub, shower, and double vanity. Then you will have 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, and two other bedrooms and 2 other full bathrooms. You will have exclusive access to the wide front porch just steps away from Guild Trail that can goes up and around Lookout Mountain. IN addition you will have exclusive access to the two top back porches. One is covered and the other is open air. The 4th porch is covered and connected to the lower unit / portion of the house. The fenced in backyard is also a wonderful amenity.
Perfectly located just steps away from Incline Railway, restaurants and ice cream. Located right at the bottom of Lookout Mountain it is 6 minutes to Rock City, 6 minutes to Ruby Falls and just 10 minutes to downtown Chattanooga. Delightfully positioned under a canopy of trees you can sit out on the front porch and enjoy nature or go hiking right from the back yard. Catch the connection to the popular Chattanooga RiverWalk just a short walk away which you can take all the way to downtown and along the Tennessee river.
Guest access:
You will have access to the entire top and bottom floors and all the porches and the fully fenced in backyard.
Other things to note:
-The road and driveway are on the side of the mountain and can be narrow and steep in parts. Drivers are responsible for their own vehicles and any damage to them or the landscaping. There is plenty of room to drive and park however you MUST be cognizant of the narrow road and rock formations around the street and driveway.
-This home has a max occupancy of 15 guests but that really only works when some of the guests are children. There is only two bedrooms and then 2 couches and a queen pullout bed upstairs. These are in addition to the King bed in the Master bedroom, and the Queen bed in the secondary bedroom upstairs. Downstairs there is an open concept apartment with a King Bed, and 4 twin beds. This room has no separation but it perfect for kids.
-The garage is available upon request. The parking limit is 5 regular sized cars or 3 cars and an oversized vehicle.
-Happy to have infants, just know we don't not have outlet plugs, or foam guards, a crib or pac-n-play etc.
Additional Rules:
- We are very clean and respectful of others so we expect our guests to be the same. We ask for non smoking guests with no pets.
- If the house has ANY evidence (physical or odor) of being smoked in a $750 fee will be assessed. Smoking is ONLY allowed in the backyard AWAY from any doors or windows. NOT allowed on the patios or porches. If seen to have smoked or even to lite up pn a porch or patio the smoking fee will be accessed.
- We ask that no parties or loud music happens during your stay with us. If a party occurs there will be a $650 fee assessed.
- Quiet Hours are from 9pm-9am.
- The lower unit naturally stays cool. Please do NOT put the air below 71 degrees on either thermostat. Most times the lower unit is below this temperature naturally, even in the summer. It WILL freeze the line for the entire house. If this happens we will need to charge you $75-$100 for the AC guys to come out and unfreeze the line.
- There are cameras on the property. You are NOT allowed to cover the cameras for ANY reason. If you cover the camera or try to disable it, you will be immediately evicted and no refund will be given.
- Only those listed in the reservation are allowed on property. You must ask and receive permission to have any additional people prior to their admittance to the property. If you exceed occupancy in the reservation on the property, you all will be immediately evicted without any refund.
- Illegal drugs are prohibited.
- Drinking of alcohol, if anyone on the property is under 21 years old, is prohibited. This can result in the party fee and immediate evection.
- We would love families to be our guests but our space is not child proof so you will be responsible to make the space suitable for children.
- Although the space is cleaned between reservations there won't be housekeeping during your stay so if you need something please feel free to ask.
- If an abnormal amount of time is needed to clean and prepare for the next guests after your stay (more than 2.5 hours) an additional cleaning fee of $80 will be assessed to compensate the cleaner for their time.
- The Homeowner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise, as well as being responsible to leave the premises and it’s contents as they were at time of arrival.
- The Insurance plan is only valid for the people that you've listed on your reservation. Therefore, only the people listed below are allowed on the property during your stay.
-Any items left after checkout will be held for 7 days. After that they will be donated. Any shipping fees will need to be paid prior to shipment of any lost/left items.
