• City sounds are part of the experience. You are in the heart of downtown. Expect occasional street noise and morning garbage pickup. We provide sound machines in every bedroom, and most guests sleep great.
• There are stairs. This is a classic Charleston townhome with multiple levels. If anyone in your group has mobility concerns, please reach out before booking.
• Charleston ordinance limits occupancy to 4 unrelated guests (families exempt). We may confirm group composition at booking.

Pets
• Pets are not permitted at this property. If pet evidence is found in the home, a fee of $150 per pet will be assessed.
Smoking
• This is a 100% smoke-free property. Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors, and a $300 fine will be charged for any in-room smoke evidence. Guests who wish to smoke are asked to do so at least 10 feet from the building.
Luggage Drop-Off
• We partner with Charleston Bag Valet, a trusted local provider, to offer secure luggage storage before check-in or after check-out. This lets you make the most of your time in Charleston without carrying bags around the city.
Additional fees apply and arrangements are made directly through the valet service.
A Note on Neighborhood Noise
• Our home sits in a vibrant downtown neighborhood, just steps from King Street's dining and nightlife. That energy is part of the Charleston experience, and ambient city noise should be expected.
• A local noise ordinance is in effect from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Guests are asked to be respectful of neighbors during these hours.
• Refunds are not issued for noise-related concerns inherent to a downtown location.
• By booking, guests acknowledge and accept this city setting.
Resolving Issues During Your Stay
• If anything is not right during your visit, please let us know right away.
• We are committed to resolving issues promptly, but we need the opportunity to do so while you are still on-site. • • Refunds cannot be issued for concerns reported after checkout or when our resolution efforts are declined.
Factors Outside Our Control
A few things to keep in mind:
• We do not control neighboring properties and cannot offer refunds based on external factors.
• Refunds are not provided for utility outages or service interruptions outside our control.
• Charleston homes are built for a subtropical climate, and many are historic. Severe cold snaps may temporarily affect water temperature and indoor heating.
Damage and Excessive Cleaning
• If damage occurs or excessive cleaning is required after checkout, an additional fee equivalent to a full cleaning charge may be assessed.
Parking
• We cannot assume responsibility for vehicles parked outside designated parking areas.
Cancellation Policy
• Exceptions to the cancellation policy associated with your reservation cannot be made. Please review your policy carefully before booking.
Hurricane and Extenuating Circumstances Policy
• If a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued for our county by the Governor of South Carolina during your stay, we will provide a full refund of all payments made.
• If no such order is issued, our standard cancellation policy remains in effect, even if weather elsewhere impacts your travel plans.
• We strongly recommend purchasing the travel insurance we offer, especially during hurricane season.
