At check-in, the desk clerk seemed annoyed that I had used Expedia to book a room. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel is it as listed as having a “restaurant“. When we arrived, we found out the restaurant was simply a counter with a bar and pre-prepared foods, nothing fresh. The prices for the premade food was very high, and the service was slow, although there were only two of us in the “restaurant“. The room overall was clean, but dated with the usual things that needed repair or care, that had not been given. We tried the bistro “restaurant“ again in the morning for coffee and breakfast, it was a long delay to order two croissants and coffees. The staff didn’t seem to care that someone had to wait for something rather than talking amongst themselves and sitting down to take a break.
