Le domaine de l’Arselle / Les Villages du Bachat is a three-star holiday residence, fully renovated in 2006/2007 to welcome families and all lovers of nature and sporting activities: skiing, sledgeing, hiking…
If you’re visiting out of season, almost all the shops will be closed. Please do not hesitate to check with the tourist office before your stay.

Situated in the heart of a spruce forest and just a stone’s throw from a designated nature reserve, with magnificent views of the Massif du Taillefer and the Arselle plateau, this holiday complex features modern architecture, with eight mini-villages that blend seamlessly into the surroundings.
It is a lively neighbourhood offering all the amenities tenants would expect: a mini-market, a bar, restaurants and ski hire. Everything is within walking distance. A car is not necessary.

Activities:
- Hiking trails (on foot in summer and on snowshoes in winter) start from the residence. A cross-country ski area is located nearby.
- Toboggan runs, entertainment, boules courts and an adventure trail are also on site.
- Snowshoe walks: 17 km of marked trails
- Alpine ski area: 90 km of slopes, including 43 runs and 15 ski lifts
- Cross-country ski area: 40 km of trails set within a 44-hectare wooded area
- Entertainment, shows, walks, orienteering, tennis, trail running, horse riding, via ferrata, water skiing, downhill mountain biking, etc. can also keep you busy in the summer.

Transport:
- By car: you can park for free in the private car park (no allocated spaces; only one vehicle permitted).
- Public car parks in the surrounding area are free. There are several around the Arselle ski area.
- The accommodation is also accessible by train: from Grenoble station, you can take a shuttle bus to Chamrousse. At Chamrousse station, a free shuttle bus is available to take you to the foot of the apartment.

The resort is situated at an altitude of 1,700 metres, ensuring reliable snow cover throughout the winter season. Snow tyres are, however, compulsory. Once you arrive, you can park your car in the private car park and enjoy the mountains.
