«What an amazing place and people. I stayed here for a week and then an unplanned 12 days more. It was amazing, the smaller village is cozy, traditional and filled with friendly people. I even had a local puppy named Lemon adopt me for my time there. Khanh and his family are spectacular. So nice and willing to help in any way they can. And Khanh’s cooking? Fogetaboutit. Phoenominal. I loved Cham Island and this homestay. »

«A delightful homestay! Mama Kim was so welcoming and prepared lovely meals. We enjoyed chatting with her using Google translate. She helped arrange boats and motorbike/taxis to local bays where we enjoyed snorkelling. It was a short stroll down the lane to the beachfront and cafes. »

The host invited me to share some dinners with his family & I thought that they were being kind, but in the end he said that I owed him money for the food. I wound up trading him for the two nights that I had paid for, but wasn’t there. I had to stay in Danang the 1st night because the speed boat to & from the island only goes in the early morn & I had to leave a day early because of a storm coming & no boat running. «Unable to get to the Island due to boat being cancelled. We're directed by owner to cancel and rebook. Since they don't have a cancel policy. But since we were unable to get there. We thought there might be consideration. Apparently, Expedia could not get a hold of hotel. Anyway seems were out 2 nights. No idea what it's like but communication non existent. Buyer Beware!»

«Mama Kim hosted us at her place as if we were from the family ! She has such a smiling face and so many nice attention that you forget about the language differences! She cooks as a chef, and her location is just amazing if you want to mingle with local people. We have also been on a fishing excursion organized by her, and it was so authentic. Such a pleasant moment ! I just regret that I couldn't stay longer !!»
