The ground floor has an open-plan kitchen/dining room with a traditional stone fireplace. There is a dining table and chairs and a modern kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, oven and a fridge.

There are 3 different terraces, all with panoramic views of the countryside. From the kitchen guests can go directly into a covered loggia which serves as an outside dining space, as it is furnished with a table and chairs. Through the main door there is a charming paved terrace which is raised from the village pathway. Here too there is a dining table and benches, where guests can enjoy meals al fresco. A third loggia style terrace is reached through the ground floor bedroom. This is furnished with a sofa, so guests can relax and take in the incredible surroundings.

Bedroom 1: The master bedroom is on the ground-floor and has a double bed, wardrobe and door out onto a private terrace.
Bedroom 2: The 1st-floor bedroom is tucked under the wooden eaves and is furnished with two single beds and a wardrobe.

The tiled bathroom has a shower, basin and WC.

Location
In the heart of the Cristallina region, the cottage is in a quiet village set in breathtaking countryside, with a river and waterfalls nearby. It is an ideal base for climbing, hiking, mountain biking or simply relaxing in some of Europe’s most beautiful landscapes.

The small town of Cavergno is a 5-minute drive. Here guests will find grocery stores and a few restaurants. Further afield is Cevio (10 minutes) which is the capital of the Vallemaggia. There is a wider choice of amenities here, including banks and supermarkets. The area is famous for its cheeses which are available in the local grocery stores and not to be missed.

Locarno on Lake Maggiore is 35 minutes away. Here guests can enjoy La Dolce Vita, with a Swiss touch. The town’s weekly market (Thursday) in Piazza Grande is the best place to find local crafts and souvenirs, as well as the freshest local produce. Alternatively, you can swim in Lake Maggiore, from the Lido Locarno.

The closest international airport is Milan Malpensa 2 hours 5 minutes away by car.
