Beautiful home with a great history
My daughter just graduated from University of Missouri. I was shocked to find out that Mr Rollins was one of its founding fathers. Our stay could not have been any better. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were endless. We also loved the Chance gardens just across the street. Thank-you for the great memories made.

Would book again!!
Our armored combat team stayed at this location when we were performing at Central Missouri Ren Fair. We arrived and all the lights and radio were on for us to greet us. It was a bit alarming because those who arrived first were worried that they had entered a space that was being occupied. The beds were more firm than some of our people liked, but I personally enjoy a firmer mattress. After the fair, we slugged back to the Rollins Inn and enjoyed using the kitchen to cook dinner for all of us. There were spices available which made our dinner even better. Since our fighters had fought so hard, we used the jacuzzi tub to relaxing our aching muscles. Once relaxed, we played card games and such that were available at the stay. The Rollins Inn is a great location for any friends or family who would love to spend time enjoying each other company. We are even considering booking another stay for a “couples retreat” to escape the busy of our lives.

Welcoming & Comfortable
This was booked for family coming from out of state. As they were senior citizens, they appreciated the hot tub that eased their muscles after a long day of traveling. They were impressed with the decor and amazed that they actually had the whole house!

Adorable home
Just the perfect place to hang out with family while visiting more family in town. The house was decorated for Christmas and super quaint. Lots of amenities made us feel right at home. The beds were pretty firm and not comfortable that was the only downside.

Beautifully restored and maintained home!
Ms. Betty has done an amazing job preserving and maintaining the 100 year old home. We were fortunate to have the opportunity to meet her as we arrived a little early and she was decorating the lawn for the holidays. Check in/out was seamless and she was also willing to work with our schedule and allow us a little extra time on the final day in the event we would have needed it. This was a guys’ trip that conveniently coincided with hunting season, but even us men still appreciated the decorations. Unlike some other short term rentals I have stayed, Ms. Betty provided plenty of basics, such as paper towels, TP, seasonings, a few drinks, etc. I later learned that the owner and I share a mutual friend, and this friend stated that she is an all-around amazing individual who is willing to help anyone at any time. We look forward to hopefully returning next year and will absolutely look to book this property again.

Spacious and homey
The Rollin’s house was really nice. It had a real comfortable atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and very inviting. We played cards on the wrap around porch while drinking our complimentary wine! It was within walking distance to the town square where we enjoyed a great car show.

Welcoming, excellent place to stay
We stayed a few days for our granddaughter's Univl of Mo. graduation. Our grandson, his wife and my husband stayed here and so glad we found this place to stay. It's an historic house that is beautifully decorated. Even more so , it was a welcoming, comfortable place to stay. The owner was very gracious and so helpful, which we really appreciated. . I would love to visit again, and especially sit in the back porch. Thanks again to the owner for her friendliness and thoughtfulness.!

The perfect weekend getaway for graduation

House was perfect. Well appointed and very comfortable. We were in town for a funeral and it was within walking distance to a grocery store which made it convenient for our food purchases. The two children enjoyed the game cabinet as well. Nice to be able to cook and dine at this house instead of the hotel we were previously planning on booking! We absolutely loved it!

A Cozy house to call home for a little getaway
This rental worked out very well for a sibling/cousins reunion! Betty was a fantastic Host! The house was super clean and historically charming . I will definitely recommend this house to anyone visiting in this area. The beds were comfortable, the linens were of great quality, the complementary bottle of wine was appreciated. The history of this house was very interesting and the owner had it decorated very tastefully.

Beautiful home in fantastic location
The pictures don't do this home justice! So much character and charm. It was even decorated for the season, which only added to the enjoyment. Located in a quaint town, I felt completely safe walking through the entire town. Betty was extremely accommadating and responded quickly when I emailed (even had to call when we accidentally locked us out of the house). Would highly recommend!

Great location for Mizzou Parent's weekend
What a wonderful property with a female touch. Lots of great fall decorations inside and out really giving you a feeling of comfort. Drank coffee on the porch in the morning and watched the world go by. Would recommend this location and town to anyone visiting the area or the university as a "getaway" from the crowds.

Weekend Adventures
My brothers, their spouses, and myself pick a location in the midwest and we go there of a long weekend. We travel the area and stop where we may, and mostly we goof-off. This was a great location, and the Inn was a great place to stay for a few days - everything was in order for us to enjoy the evenings, and have breakfast before each day began.

NYC Back Again
You can read my previous experience in the brochure laying about, but clearly it was wonderful enough that we returned. We always travel a long long way to see our family and it is so nice to have a cute wonderful home away from home to base our operations in. Family also loves coming to the Rollins house and we hang/chat on the beautiful covered porch. My kids love the Hideaway room upstairs and all the parks in easy walking distance. Highly recommend checking out the local sites and places to eat. We enjoyed the new Bluebird Bistro multiple times during our stay. We’ll be back again! Thanks for everything.

Perfect home while in town for a family gathering.
This home made our weekend in town for my son and daughter-in-law’s baby shower perfect! 6 of us from out of town stayed at the property and made wonderful family memories! We baked and decorated cupcakes in the spacious kitchen! We played games in the living room. The front porch and adoreable back porch were perfect spots to sit and visit! Beautiful Home for Sanctuary Cast
We needed a place to house actors for an independent film being made by Stephens College film students at the Graceland Mansion in Mexico, MO. The Rollins Street House was PERFECT! The numerous bedrooms gave the actors privacy, and the living space gave them a space to visit and get to know each other. Betty, the owner, was fantastic and quickly responded to our questions. I wish I had recorded the excited chatter of the actors after the first night. They were thrilled with their accommodations and gushed about how beautiful and comfortable the house felt. I overheard one of them discussing using the Rollins Street House for a family vacation in the future. We highly recommend this location for groups needing several bedrooms and space to get together.
