«I'd rate this cottage, in all its grandeur, a 9.3/10. It is an ideal distance from the Yosemite National Park entrance. Surrounded by a quiet, amazing community this cottage truly gives the 1900s charming vibe. Come prepared to bat off swarming bees and wasps if intending to use the grill, however, this is probably a seasonal issue (spring/winter vs summer time). Summer heat is no joke in Mariposa so take advantage of the fans and swamp cooler, nonetheless, it was a great time!»

«Our family really enjoyed the stay here even though it is between the towns. It is conveniently located for the west and south gates of Yosemite and the two nearby towns. we loved Idle Hours, and the Hideout Saloon (great food at both). We had all the space and amenities we needed to feel like home. Everything we needed in the kitchen. Lots of games, movies and activities. Great local details book, and my son most enjoyed the ping pong table out front. Would definitely stay again if we are in ...

«Wow - what can I say, this place is amazing. We stayed for 3 nights explored Yosemite and surrounding area, if you want a perfect location with amazing host’s I can’t recommend this place highly enough, it takes approx 1.30hrs to get into the park, but the drive is easy and scenery is amazing…The cottage is exactly as described and so far our favourite location whilst touring around the area.If we ever come back to visit the area, we will definitely be back…1st rate 👌»
