Comfortable stay at beautiful beach
We went to Costa Rei in June and had all in all a great stay at this hotel. I'll start off with the few negatives: Our room was part of a bigger one, split by a thin door. Fortunately the other couple next door were quiet, so we didn't find that to be a big problem. Rooms were clean and held a decent standard compared to other Sardinian hotels. There could be more variation on the half-board dinner, as we often found ourselves missing meat of some sort. Other than that we have a very positive impression of this hotel. We noticed that some reviews refer to the beach as "okay" and not as beautiful as the best on this island. After driving a few hours north and visiting several places further south (Villasimius, Cagliari, Chia), we concluded that this beach was up there among the best. While not comparable to Chia (obviously), it was still absolutely amazing. We enjoyed the different beach activities and the staff was pleasant. Especially Sandro in the bar. We particularly enjoyed the evening activities with local musicians. We wouldn't have any problems recommending this hotel, but it could get even better with more variation on half board as well as an upgrade of the rooms.
