L’Écurie: a spacious one-bedroom gîte for couples in the Lot

L’Écurie is a spacious, independent one-bedroom gîte for two in Cassagnes, in the Lot, south-west France. Enjoy a super king-size bed, your own covered terrace, a wood-burning stove and access to the shared heated swimming pool. With a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning and fibre Wi-Fi, it suits couples seeking a peaceful self-catering holiday or a longer countryside stay. Explore the Lot’s villages, markets and Cahors vineyards at your own pace.

One bedroom is prepared and the second remains closed. You still have exclusive use of the gîte’s kitchen, living space, shower room, separate WC and terrace; you do not share the accommodation with anyone else.

One prepared bedroom with a super king-size bed measuring 180 × 200 cm. The second bedroom remains closed. Bed linen is provided.

Steps and access

There are two steps up to the terrace and one step into the gîte. The rest of the gîte is level, with one step into the shower. The shower room and WC are separate. This is the same layout as the two-bedroom option. Contact us before booking if you need measurements or further access details.

Kitchen and living space

Your private kitchen includes an oven, hob, microwave, air fryer, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine. There is space to cook, eat and relax at your own pace.

TV with English, French and Dutch channels, streaming apps and high-speed fibre Wi-Fi are provided.

Air conditioning, heating and a wood-burning stove are provided.

Your terrace and shared facilities

Your private covered terrace offers sheltered outdoor dining and seating, with views towards the gardens and pool.

The heated outdoor pool is open from May to the end of September. Opening outside these months depends on the weather. You can also enjoy the property’s 17 acres of gardens and woodland. La Prairie’s private jacuzzi is not included with this individual booking.

What is included

Bed linen, bath towels, pool towels, heating, Wi-Fi and private on-site parking are included. Optional food hampers and other extras have an additional charge and are subject to availability. Food orders and hampers require at least 24 hours’ notice; prices are shown at checkout and in your digital welcome pack after booking.

Plan your stay

Individual gîte bookings welcome guests aged 16 and over. Pets are not accepted. Quiet hours are 23:00–08:00. Events are permitted only when all three gîtes are booked for exclusive use, by prior agreement. No security deposit is required for individual bookings.
