Looking for a Pleasure Island getaway thats less than a block to the Atlantic, a short walk to Downtown CB and a private balcony with Atlantic views to enjoy those painted sunrises and salty breezes? "Beach Baybee!" may be just the sea-escape everyones been waiting for!
Managed by SWRE, this modern and impeccably accessorized Sandcastle brings the BEST of our Island right to your doorstep. From vitamin Sea and beach-combing, to a quick jaunt Downtown, paradise is TRULY at your sandy fingertips!
The home is directly due South of Downtown CB and everything that is has to offer. In Carolina Beach you’ve got the boardwalk, restaurants, and local shops of all kinds. If you like adventures, the marina is also there where you can take an offshore fishing trip, diving excursion, or party boat out for a sunset sail. Camping more your thing? Bring the 4X4 and drive (and camp) on the beach at Freeman Park, located on the North End of the island. You can also head down to Kure Beach and fish directly off their fishing pier complete with bait, tackles, and more! The Carolina Beach Lake is nearby, hosting a weekly Farmer’s Market every Saturday and FIREWORKS every Thursday. The entry to this 1 bedroom and 2 bath home opens up into a large, furnished family room combined with an open dining area and fully equipped kitchen (stove oven, and refrigerator). The kitchen is stocked will all the basic cooking and dining utensils one should expect (plates, bowls, cups, silverware, etc.).
But the highlights of this home will make you feel 50 shades of BLUE! Your partial Atlantic balcony views and un-obstructed salty Sea breezes from an array of vantage points throughout the home truly make for a special excursion! As if partial Atlantic views, crisp morning breezes, and pelicans floating in tandem overhead less than a block away wasn’t enough, a private pool shared only with your handful of building "neighbors" let's you check both the "saltwater" AND "freshwater" boxes respectively on your ADVENTURE!
A few of the amenities provided by your Owners include courtesy large shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel left in the bathroom of each bath as well. Also, a roll of TP in each bathroom, 1 roll of PT in the kitchen, 2 garbage bags per garbage, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, dryer sheets, hand soap, dish soap, a sponge, coffee, tea, and pure cane sugar in each kitchen. Additional items are likely on sight as well!
The home's ONE (1) QUEEN and ONE (1) TWIN + TWIN BUNK BED consists of either a plush luxury mattress or a new encased memory foam/cooling gel composition mattress because we want all of our guests to be comfortable when it comes time to recharge.
THE POOL: ***OPEN!*** The pool is located on the Norther end of the building!
The HOME: Guests have full access to their own PRIVATE unit (never shared) along with a respective deck and balcony(s).
PARKING: Each guest will have access to (2) Two un-assigned parking spaces underneath the building (the pass MUST be used!). Any additional community parking spaces would have metered/paid availability on a first come first serve basis and are located around CB.
•Closest BEACH access: Spartanburg Ave Public Beach Access ( Spartanburg Ave Public Beach Access ).
I will be available for check-in and general assistance until 8PM EST. Anything with the exception of an emergency (ie. flood, fire, or another *safety* related risk sent to Maintenance) will be responded to ASAP the following day :)
Pleasure Island is a coastal barrier island in Southeastern North Carolina, USA just south of the City of Wilmington. Pleasure Island is located within Federal Point Township, in New Hanover County. The coastal resort towns of Carolina Beach and Kure Beach, as well as the annexed communities of Wilmington Beach and Hanby Beach are located on the island.
The building itself is approximately one hundred feed from the Spartanburg Ave Public Access. The property is a short walk or lightning fast drive to downtown Carolina Beach with its shops, activities and dining and is equidistant to the smaller, but just as charming Downtown Kure Beach with its fishing pier and aquarium. You can also head down to Kure Beach and fish directly off their fishing pier complete with bait, tackles, and more! The Carolina Beach Lake is nearby, hosting a weekly Farmer’s Market every Saturday and FIREWORKS every Thursday. We welcome you to sit back, relax and enjoy yourselves because that's exactly what the beach is for!
Carolina Beach and the surrounding neighborhoods offer an array of sights and activities to enjoy while here. Some of these examples are (but not limited to) a subtle beach hike through Carolina Beach State Park, Fishing on the Kure Beach Pier, kayaking to one of the many islands surrounding the Intracoastal Waterway, watching canons blast during a historical reenactment at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site, or petting some Sting Rays at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher. This doesn’t even include the aweing scenery of Airlie Gardens, and our very own battleship (USS NC) in Wilmington! Perhaps more relaxing and less “adventure” is your speed? Our own local Brewery (Good Hops) along with a round of Frisbee golf may be what the doctor ordered!
There isn’t anywhere or anything on our Island that isn’t accessible with foot power. Downtown Carolina Beach has several vendors such as Tony Silvagni’s Surf School @ 308 S Lake Park Blvd, Carolina Beach, NC 28428 (bicycles, paddleboards, surfboards, kayaks, chairs, and umbrellas) for rent as an alternative to walking or driving. There's Sun Fun Rentals @1204 N Lake Park Blvd Unit F Carolina Beach, NC 28428. Taxi’s (local golf cart taxi’s) and Uber’s are also generally available for an assist when needed as well throughout the island! You can catch a Ferry to Southport in Kure Beach @ 2422 Fort Fisher Blvd S Kure Beach which leads to another ferry to Bald Head Island where NO CARS are allowed at all!
After all, you won’t catch many locals going OTB! (Over The Bridge). Everything you need is right here!
•Salt Water Real Estate has partnered with the absolute best vendors our Island has to offer to help ensure guests can spend more time enjoying themselves and less time researching! Our partners include the Tony Silvagni Surf School for professional surf lessons, bicycle, umbrella and chair rentals, Hot Ticket Fishing Charters, Salty Dog Yoga, Amy’s Rise N Shine, and Griffin Cleaning and linens.
•Linens
(Sheets, bath towels, wash cloths pillowcases, wash cloths, bathmats) ARE included as part of the rental here (excluding beach towels which can be rented through scrubandgo@griffinscleaning dot org. If requiring extra or non-included linens, please reach out to Griffin Cleaning Services who is a partner with SWRE and will assist in any way possible! Please make sure all linens are placed in the basket or hamper before your departure! Please let all BED LINENS on the beds remain on the beds for our TEAM to take care of! Carolina Beach
The Town of Carolina Beach offers multiple public parking options to visitors and residents on a FIRST COME-FIRST SERVE basis. Town-operated parking is open year round and paid parking is enforced March 1st - October 31st from 9AM - 8PM. Parking fees restart each morning during enforcement hours for all of the Town's parking lots and on-street parking spaces.

Premium Parking Lots $ 7/hour or $35/day

GOLF CARTS
•To the county, golf carts are considered automobiles. Generally speaking, golf carts are NOT allowed on premises of ANY condo, condotel, or apartment. The same goes for trailers, motorcycles, etc. For SFR’s or properties supporting multiple vehicles, carts should be OK. However, be conscious that few homes have external outlets WITHOUT GFCI’S (which are code by today’s standards). Charging a cart on a GFCI will immediately trip the breaker, resulting in the inability to charge a cart amongst other repercussions. Gas carts will generally be the ideal rental option if in a home whose parking supports such.
•ALL suites are non-smoking (including vaping) and a heavy cleaning/repair charge can result if not adhered to. This includes porches, decks, balconies, and walkways.
•There is a $150 non-refundable pet fee for up to two pups. There is a two-dog maximum unless an exception is granted.
•April 1st through September 30th, dogs are allowed on the Carolina Beach during restricted hours of BEFORE 9:00 am and AFTER 5:00 pm. On the extreme North End of Carolina Beach, dogs are allowed on leash 24/7 on leash. In Kure Beach, dogs are NOT allowed at any juncture. Fort Fisher allows dogs on leash on the beach 24/7. Please be responsible to follow all town pet ordinances and have an awareness as to which beach you are on at all times!

•Pups are NEVER allowed on any furniture.
•Do NOT let your pup bark excessively in any multi-unit environment.
