A real luxury
Taj Cape Town is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Everything was fantastic: the room was very nice, food was good and the service was excellent. A real luxury!

Veldig hyggelig personale, som hjelper til med hva som helst! Flotte rom, og veldig fin beliggenhet i sentrum. Hotellet har også gratis minibuss hele dagen, som tar deg til de typiske turistattraksjonene. Frukosten er helt fantastisk!!

Top notch!
Five nights to discover cape town and this hotel did not disappoint. The free shuttle bus, the ever friendly staff and great breakfast made our stay beyond reproach.

Flott hotell sentralt i Cape Town.
Vi hadde en flott uke i Cape Town. Vi ble hentet på flyplassen av hotellets henteservice. Dette kostet litt ekstra, men sparte oss for mye ventetid. Det er første gang jeg har vært på et hotell hvor personalet var inne og ryddet om formiddagen og om kvelden. Fikk nye flasker vann hver dag, informasjon om været påfølgende dag. I det store og hele, en av de beste hotelloplevelsene vi har hatt.

The service we received at the TAJ was exemplary. We booked the TAJ based on previous stays at 2 locations in India and are so glad we did. We were immediately greeted on arrival. The staff took charge of our numerous pieces of luggage and our reservation was pulled up while we were offered a special tea and then whisked away to our room. The room was quite large with seating and ample space to open our luggage. The bathroom was modern and huge and gorgeous. Everything worked! We were delighted we book the Executive floor and really enjoyed relaxing during the evening happy hour. The sparkling white wine they served was better than the ones we were served during wine samplings at 3 other locations. The service during the evening was great and helpful with tips for our stay. The breakfast buffet and service were spot on. There were many different types of food so it was easy to find something you wanted. Coffee was great and replenished frequently. After the first day our waitress remembered our preferences. She was a delight and made our stay even better. I would book this hotel again without looking further.

If you’re looking to stay in the centre of Cape Town, at a 5 star hotel with amazing spa technicians, look no further. The staff were so friendly and courteous, the rooms were wonderful and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Green market is a stroll away, the Water Shed and Water Front are just a short Uber Drive away (Willoughby & Co sushi is a must!) We had views of Table Mountain and Lion’s Head - the views were spectacular. Highly recommend.

Beautiful property with luxury at its best. MAJESTIC table mountain view from the 15th floor balcony was one of the best experiences. Breakfast buffet was extravagant with various indian cuisine options.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was when we wanted to charge to our room. We didn’t understand that we could only charge if we had sufficient funds prepaid. We were told that anything over that limit wouldn’t automatically be charged to our credit. The amount that was initially deposited wasn’t very much. It should have been explained better. We met another couple who had the same issue.

I have been a Taj Loyalist ever since a kid. This property while beautiful needs to fix the condition of its equipment. The hair dryer, attached to the drawer was very Inconvenient to use and broken as well. Housekeeping couldn’t provide me with a different one. The shower was leaking as well. While the Bombay Brassiere served good food, service was too slow. A solo diner , it took me 2.5 hrs for a meal, did t help that initdered vegetarian and they kept sending non- veg dishes out to my table. The breakfast the next day was worse, not a single server cane to ask me for my beverage order the entire time i was there, forget about asking the special of the day and getting it frsh made from the kitchen. I grabbed a croissant and OJ and it wa sin and out. Not looking for a repeat stay here. Plenty of newer hotels that have way better service.
