Spesielt renhold
Hadde et fint opphold, men hadde store problemer med renholds gjengen. Vi hadde 4 episoder der de bare låser seg inn på rommet mens vi lå å slappet av. De kakket på en gang, så stormet de inn på rommet som en gaselle uten bekymringer. I tillegg forsvant det et smykke fra rommet vårt…

Ok hotel
Ok hotel at green market square. Room was nice,clean and tidy. But could see it is an old building. Some noise from the square in the morning. The door in to the room was not good,could see light from outside all around the door at night,and hear people passing bye,and talking. As if the door was open. So very noisy. Nice resturant with good breakfast. Most of the staff was nice,smiling and helpful.

Koselig hotell sentralt beliggende i Cape Town
Jeg bodde 3 dager på hotellet og hadde det veldig fint! Det ligger i et veldig hyggelig og sentralt område. Rett utenfor hotellet var det et morsomt marked med mye fine ting og hyggelige mennesker og rett rundt hjørnet lå Longstreet med masse butikker og restauranter Servicen var upåklagelig og betjeningen veldig søte og hjelpsomme. Jeg anbefaler det på det varmeste!

Sentralt og hyggelig hotell
Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt til i byen og rett på Greenmarket square som er veldig hyggelig. Servicen er veldig bra og rommene store. Eneste er at det kan være litt støy fra gaten om morgenen når de setter opp bodene til markedet utenfor, men vi trivdes veldig godt likevel! Kan anbefales!

Good location
The room, training facilities and sauna was a bit worn out, but it was ok. The breakfast was excelent, although a bit pricy for this part of the world.

Loved the hotel and the breakfast was simply gorgeous and bountiful. The African market out front was the frosting on the cake. The swimming pool was an added bonus for my husband who does laps; it was small but adequate.

easy check in process, friendly and accommodating staff, great breakfast with options, beds were comfortable. I did not feel safe going out by myself. I watched scammers working from my hotel window. If you are with 3 or 4 people I would feel safe. Hotel and rooms are in great need of a remodel. Bathroom door was rusted off the hinges and door would not close, cracked tile and dirty grout. Nice USB ports in headboard.

The hotel was clean and located in a good area. The market in thw square just outside the hotel is great. The breakfast was nice. What let it down was the room. The bathroom was very small and the air conditioning in the room was terrible. The unit gave me an electric shock on two separate occasions. No one at reception seemed to be remotely bothered that I had been injured. We asked to move rooms after the second incident and the room we were transfered to also had really poor air conditioning which made the room very warm. The bar, restaurant and common areas are nice and modern but the room was a disappointment.

The staff are absolutely amazing especially maymona, so helpful and lovely. The hotel is nice, good breakfast, room is clean However, the wifi didnt work in our room the whole stay and other guests complained from the same thing

The Onomo Inn On The Square is the perfect place in Cape Town. The crafts market is just outside the front door and more crafts on St. George’s Mall, one block away. St George’s Anglican Cathedral, where Archbishop Tutu presided, is very close. The Inn On The Square is in the very center of Cape Town. The restaurant is also good. There is a bar too. The staff is competent and friendly. I really recommend this hotel

Excellent place to be able to stay right in the City. Right in the market Square with lots of places within easy walking by day and night. Good complimentary breakfast and the valet parking worked well.

Incredible breakfast buffet included
The ONOMO hotel, located in a good, central location, has 8 floors. We were lucky to be on the 8th floor overlooking the square. I imagine the lower floors might be noisier due to vendors setting up and dismantling their booths. The breakfast (which we weren't told was included when we checked in) was incredible - one of the nicest buffets I've experienced in a hotel. The pool, while small, was refreshing. Laundry is available but very expensive.

Very poor quality hotel.
We had to move 3 times due broken AC units. Had to waste alot of time in the lobby and the maintence manager (Neal) lied to us!

Unfortunately there was a mixup with our booking and it was never sent through. This wasn’t the hotels fault but staff were dismissive and rude at times. Rooms were adequate but bathroom pokey and not that clean. Breakfast was hectic and unenjoyable. Overall I wouldn’t recommend.

Good tourist hotel
As a tourist hotel it's difficult to fault the Onomo - it does the things hat tourists expect to find very well. It is centrally located, the staff were very responsive and attentive, the breakfast was good, the room was clean and the pool on the 8th floor was fine. It has a large street market directly outside with shops and restaurants nearby and it is a 15 minute walk to the V&A

No aircon - so stay away if you need that
If you need Aircon don’t book this hotel at all- it don’t work in any of the rooms I change rooms and it all the same, just work as a game. if you don’t need aircon this hotel is ok for the money as the location, staff and cleanest is ok for the money. But as I can’t sleep in +25 C room I didn’t sleep for my hole stay so for me it is only worth 1 star.

Great property and great service. The only issue is that the pool was being misused by other guests. The hotel should ensure strict measures for the pool and it wasn’t heated.
