Hi there,
We (my wife and I) spent about 1 week at the house. The house is small and cute and comes with all basics amenities for the first days.
The garden is nice, especially if you have kids or a small dog. When it is warm one can sit and have meals outside. During out trip in early march it was still a little cold, so we didn‘t use this opportunity too much.
The house has a fireplace, which makes the whole house and clothes smell like cold smoke, even though we didn’t use the fire place. No big issue but good to know.
For our 1 week stay we had additional costs of about 120 Euros for electricity and gas. Since the house is somewhat older and not very well insulated, expect higher energy needed to heat/cool the house than you are used to.
The house is reachable by car, i would not recommend trying to use public transport in that area. Going shopping and out to eat is definitely reliant on always driving everywhere. There are however nice areas to walk throughout the Tuscan fields close by.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to other guests as well. If the opportunity comes again, we will happily come back.
