The bathroom has a lovely shower and separate bath with a good flow and temperature. The hand soap was quite low and when you pressed down it squirted quite far so be careful! «I book a long weekend in Canterbury each summer to visit friends in the area and usually spend ages finding a suitable property. Next year I won't even look - I'll go back to Stable Lodge. «The property is cosy and, although near the A2, it's located in a peaceful area. There is a septic tank that we weren't aware of prior to arrival but as long as you are careful with what goes down the drain this isn't an issue. There are plenty of walks on the doorstep and the clear sky at night is to be enjoyed. The road entrance can easily be missed so slow down early. Overall we had a pleasant stay but I'd say it's a bit expensive for what it is.»
