"The hotel overall was alright, and considering the price, what we got was okay. The room itself was excellent – very spacious, clean, and comfortable. However, we expected more from a five-star hotel. Staff service was underwhelming and communication difficult at times due to limited English. Except Lucas, he was great. Food was the biggest disappointment. For a hotel with “Health and Wellness” in the name, we expected nourishing meals. The breakfast buffet had fresh fruit, but gluten-free options were poor. The bread was inedible, and the gluten-free dessert was just plastic-wrapped sugar pastries. Staff showed little knowledge about intolerances or gluten-free diets. The early checkout breakfast package was another letdown. The night before, reception noted my request for gluten-free bread, eggs, butter, and fruit, while my partner expected a standard meal. What we actually received was just two hard-boiled eggs, a pear, and a small bottle of water to share – far below five-star standard. Many reviews mention the glass bathroom walls with no privacy. This is true, but our suite had an extra enclosed toilet, which we appreciated. For standard rooms, however, this could be an issue, especially for new couples. Amenities were fine but unremarkable, and the décor felt uninspired compared to the promise of a vibrant wellness retreat. Overall, there was a lack of refinement and congruence between what the hotel advertises and what it delivers."

"GO THERE!! Portimao was a great stay and also this hotel. One of the best breakfast i’ve had on a hotel. Should be 5 stars. If u consider staying in the Algarve, choose Portimão and this hotel. "

"Hotellanleggets beliggenhet med 10 min gåavstand til en flott strand og 15-20 min til Carvoeiros livlige sentrum er fint. Interiøret til vår lille leilighet med eget kjøkken inkl. vaskemaskin var også fint. Fra terrassen var det gjennom planter utsikt på et nært 5-stjernes hotell nok i sluttfasen av å bli ferdigbygget. Vi valgte ikke å klage på det, fordi det ikke kom så mye bråk derifra og fordi vi bare tørket klær på terrassen, men det hadde likevel vært hyggelig fra hotellets side med en frivillig liten anerkjennelse for at vi godtok denne nærheten og utsikten på en byggeplass. Vi valgte stedet for andre gang også pga. den inkluderte tilgangen til en tennisbane. Tilstanden til asfaltbanen har dessvere blitt delvis dårlig sånn at vi neste gang nok velger et annet hotellanlegg med en bedre bane. Carvoeiro er ellers absolutt en fin destinasjon med akurat passe antall turister og med alt som er bra med atlantisk klima om sommeren."

"Loved Portimao, and especially the beach, a lot more than this hotel. A standard room by charter hotel standards, very basic. If you prefer not to walk you can be driven around in a golf car. Staff not that smiling or friendly. Breakfast was okay, with a moderate selection - I missed having more healthy options. Overall, I expected better value for the money. This was the most expensive hotel per night on our trip, yet it delivered the least."
