«Extremely clean and comfortable! The only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is I wish the website mentioned each room has a unique scent. I have a fragrance allergy and didn't see that about the scents until at the airport reading the check in material that was sent to me right before our stay (this material was well thought out and great!). You can buy candles in the scent of each room if you'd like, which is something that others probably really like. I called and they removed a diffuser or air ...

«This was a very sweet space. They thought of everything! There are a few things within walking distance, but it is a little farther out from the French Quarter area. That said, it is also more affordable than other places! There is offstreet parking, which is nice, but believe it when they say only small cars will fit!»

«Terribly run down. Loud. Lights shining in our room. Bathroom fixtures coming off the wall. I killed a cockroach in the bathroom. Pot smoke rolling under the connecting room door.
Pool closed.
But, staff were nice and efficient…they just didn’t have much to work with. And, I never do reviews.»

«The view of the ocean was the only good thing about my room. The air conditioner didn't cool, no coffe pot,refrigerator didn't work,broke ice machine,stayed on 9th floor one elevator broke also could have had a microwave per request found out last night there. The only good thing about stay was staff Kat and Ernest. If I could have stayed in the lobby would have been amazing very disappointing paying well over 300 a night. I will never go back to the Tides again.»

«Beautiful views, comfortable rooms, daily housekeeping (yay!) and convenient to Patriots Point and downtown Charleston (with some planning by water taxi or hotel shuttle). Weather was unseasonably cold when we were there but this place amazingly offered a well-heated pool and beautiful outdoor hot tub overlooking the harbor. Big points for that. It was very relaxing. Staff was friendly and helpful. Grounds were very nice.
Unfortunately they had some sort of mechanical issue with the HVAC system ...
