Welcome to Fernwood - a fully curated, designer-furnished retreat in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Whether you're gathering for a ski trip, celebrating a wedding weekend, exploring Canmore's legendary trail system, or simply unwinding with family - Fernwood is where every detail has been taken care of, so all you have to do is arrive.



At 1,450 square feet of living space spread across a single level, Fernwood makes for a comfortable and hassle free stay for all groups, including those with older travellers as well as the youngest of visitors.



There are four generously sized bedrooms with KING sized beds in 3, a Bunk with trundle in the 4th and a packable crib for guests with infants. Sleep the whole group without compromise, while two full bathrooms mean no early-morning lineups.



The open-plan living and dining area is designed to bring people together - clean lines, natural textures, and curated vintage-inspired pieces create an atmosphere that feels elevated without feeling precious. Gather around the 8 person dining table for dinner, chats, or game night with the selection of board games provided. The large cloud like couch is also ready for a more relaxed kick back, whether enjoying a book or binge watching that new Netflix series.



The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need for a family breakfast to a rehearsal dinner feast. Plenty of plates, wine glasses and cutlery mean more than one meal before needing to run the dishwasher. Top quality pots and pans and a large collection of spices to save you from stocking a kitchen that isn't yours. The dialed in Espresso Machine with supplied small batch boutique roasted coffee beans makes for fuss-free morning Latte's without having to visit the Café. (though we do have some great recommendations if you'd like to!)



Smart TVs with streaming apps, high-speed Wi-Fi, and in-suite laundry are all here when you need them.



Outside & building:



Step onto the Balcony and let the Rockies do the talking. Fire up the BBQ against a backdrop of dramatic mountain peaks - the kind of view that makes a simple evening feel like a celebration. When the legs are sore from a day on the trails or the slopes, Solara Resorts shared hot tub and pool are close by. Feeling like you need a little extra ? One Wellness & Spa, where you can book in for many different relaxation treatments as well as a free gym, is a 20 second walk from your door.



Your reserved underground parking spot ensures smooth arrivals and departures, especially when winter hits and cold mornings are one less thing to think about — load up the gear and go.

Fernwood sits inside Solara Resort, in one of the most sought-after positions in Canmore - a 15 minute stroll or 4 minute drive to downtown's acclaimed restaurants, boutique shops, and café culture. Several restaurants, shops, and Cafés outside of the downtown core are even within a 5 minute walk. Banff National Park boundary is less than 10 minutes drive. World-class ski resorts, snowshoe trails, the renowned Canmore Nordic Centre, and some of Canadas most iconic hiking are all at your doorstep. This is a base camp worth coming home to.
