What a lovely property to stay with. Beautiful grounds and a lovely cosy cabin. Heater was already on for us and beds were comfy and warm.

This park is very well set up, there is an option for everyone here. Staff were awesome. We were in the 2 bedroom cabins and they were very nice. Would go back again

The prery was very close to the lake and it had rabitts running all over the olace and kids enjoyed . Wifi signal was very poor on tv. Unable to connect wifi on mobiles.

Loved the Lake view cabin, it was so lovely. A great low priced option. However, although the cabin itself was awesome, such a beautiful outlook, the amenities around the park are very neglected and run down. The tennis court and mini golf were very neglected. The pool was fantastic but not heated. It is about 20 minutes from Canberra centre which didn’t bother us. The nearest supermarket is about 10-15 minutes away. It is a quiet tranquil place mostly. The internet is not good at. There is no Vodaphone reception. Overall I loved it all and there were no complaints from our kids who are 12 and 13. Birds and turtles in the lake which was lovely. If you want a quiet low cost get away close to Canberra, book the lake view cabin.

The view over the lake was pretty and felt private. There was hardly any internet or phone reception which made it difficult to pre book tours etc. The cabins need to have a thorough clean, the ceiling fan was full of black dirt on top of it. The bathroom had mould on the walls. Overall, all the facilities seemed run down and need an upgrade.

Good for overnight stay
It was comfortable & affordable. We were an hour late in checking in. The gruff old man who assisted us was grumpy & grouchy. Not very welcoming. Ceiling fans need cleaning.

Quiet, lovely camp kitchen area with campfire area, kids enjoyed the pillow, putt putt and tennis - although needs some repairs. The cabin we were in was freezing, even with the heaters going - lots of cold area coming in through the door - needs sealing or something. We also had little black ants in the kitchen. Overall, our stay was ok and served it's purpose.

Great place to stay friendly and welcoming. The grounds like the mini golf and tennis court could do with some maintenance The only thing I didn’t like was you have to take your own rubbish bin out from the cabin to the green bins out the front (never had this at any other place) which is annoying with four children but other then that the place was nice

Our country villa was a bit dated with some small things missing, a fly screen, oven igniter (lighter in the kitchen draw), that’s it really But spotlessly clean and comfortable, quiet and peaceful. Check in was friendly check out was a breeze. Will stay again. Recommended.

Capital Country Holiday Park is a great park to stay. It is quiet, safe and very peaceful. It is our number one choice to stay in Canberra. This was our first time staying in the Lake cabins - we previously stayed in the others - but we loved the water views and to sit on the veranda and to enjoy the ducks and sunset. The cabin was very clean, well equipped and had everything we needed. The cabin had air-conditioning, comfy pillows and a good mattress. We will definitely book again

The tv didn’t work the shower pressure was crap hot water took forever to warm up there was popcorn in the bunk beds and the people around us were loud all night and didn’t care about anyone else
