The cabin sits along a well-maintained gravel road with other cabins spaced far apart, giving you privacy without total isolation. You’ll be surrounded by trees, wildlife, and the soothing quiet of nature, yet just 25 minutes from Natural Bridge State Park, Miguel’s Pizza, and Daniel Boone Coffee.
Nearby adventures include the Red Byrd Arch trailhead (only minutes away) and the Rock Bridge/Creation Falls trail system, offering some of the Gorge’s most scenic hikes. This area is made for slowing down, reconnecting, and exploring at your own pace—where starry nights, forest views, and winding country roads set the tone for a magical treetop escape.
Getting Around:
Reaching the Deluxe Birdhouse is simple and scenic. The cabin is accessed via a well-maintained gravel road, and while it feels remote and tucked away, no AWD is required. Your private parking area sits right at the start of the 30-ft bridge that leads into the cabin.
Once you’re settled in, most guests choose to drive to nearby trailheads and attractions. You’ll be:
• 3–5 minutes from Red Byrd Arch
• About 1 mile from Rock Bridge / Creation Falls
• 25 minutes from Natural Bridge State Park, Miguel’s Pizza, and Daniel Boone Coffee
There is no public transportation or rideshare service in this rural area, so a personal vehicle is necessary for exploring the Gorge.
The roads are peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by forest—making every drive part of the experience.
