L'Ancrage – Characterful House in the Artists’ Quarter

Welcome to L'Ancrage, a 17th-century Breton house inviting you to unwind to the rhythm of the tides.



Just 50 m from the harbor, everything is within walking distance: shops, restaurants, quays, the beach, and the GR34 coastal path. For our family, L'Ancrage is a place to reconnect and recharge. We wish to share this spirit with our guests.



This is not a standard rental. The house retains the charm, spaciousness, and atmosphere of old fishermen's homes. If you are looking for a contemporary, very bright interior heated to 25°C in winter, this may not be the best fit. However, if you appreciate authentic places with history, you should feel right at home.



The pellet stove is the main source of heating. Depending on the weather and use, the indoor temperature is generally between 19 and 21°C. One bag of pellets is provided on arrival; additional bags are available in nearby shops. Cozy blankets, comfortable duvets, and a warm atmosphere await you after a day outdoors.



From autumn to spring, Camaret reveals another side: storms, high tides, hiking, and sunsets over Pen-Hir. It’s the perfect season to discover the peninsula differently.



Designed for up to 10 guests (ideal for 6 to 8 adults), the house offers 3 bedrooms, a mezzanine inspired by a wizard’s world, 2 bathrooms, welcoming living spaces, and all the essentials for young children.



Bed linen is provided, and beds are made before your arrival. Pets are welcome (for an extra fee).
