“Welcome to Callantsoog! Our beautiful holiday home is located in the quiet park “De Buitenplaats”, nestled in the flower fields of North Holland and only about 1,500 meters from the white sandy beach and the town center.
The quiet park has a beautiful lake with a play island in the middle. In addition to a pirate ship climbing frame, a swing, a slide and a large sandpit, you will also find a table tennis table, a basketball hoop, a football pitch and a boules court. There is also a beautiful forest area adjacent to the park, which is ideal for walking and climbing.
Our thatched house in the old Dutch style is located in the middle of the park and offers you your own parking space directly at the house. It is modernly furnished and can accommodate up to 6 people. On the ground floor you will find a hallway with a shoe rack, bench and wardrobe, as well as an adjacent toilet with a washbasin. The spacious living-dining area is divided into 3 areas: the large kitchen offers all comforts: In addition to a fully-fledged stove with oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, the kitchen also offers a dishwasher, a microwave, a mini oven, a mixer, a multi-chopper, a salad spinner Raclette machine as well as cutlery and crockery for 6 people (including plastic crockery for children). Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area for 6 people. There are also 3 children's chairs available (a baby/toddler chair and 2 children's chairs for children aged around 3 years). In the living area there is a children's corner with a children's desk, 2 children's chairs and a children's bench with a selection of games and books. The 2 large sofas and the rocking chair invite you to spend a cozy evening in front of the fireplace or the HD flat screen TV. There is also a collection of games and some information about the area for adults on site. On the ground floor there is also a utility room with a washing machine and dryer, clothes horse, vacuum cleaner, ironing board and iron. There are 3 bedrooms on the upper floor. The master bedroom houses a comfortable double bed (180×200 cm) and a baby bed (70×140 cm) as well as a changing table with a changing mat. The 2 smaller bedrooms are each equipped with a wardrobe and a bed (80×200 cm), which can be pulled out if necessary and thus each offers 2 sleeping spaces each measuring 80×200 cm. Here, too, child-friendly accessories will brighten up your vacation, as the beds are child-friendly with fall protection and the rooms are equipped with colorful carpets and murals. All rooms on the upper floor also have blackout blinds. The stairs are also secured by a stair gate. In addition to the 3 bedrooms, on the upper floor you will find the beautiful bathroom with shower, free-standing bathtub, washbasin, toilet, towel heater and underfloor heating. The fully fenced garden invites you to linger: the large terrace at the house is protected by a glass windbreak and is equipped with a large garden table with 6 chairs and a parasol. The small terrace is located directly on the water and offers 2 relaxation chairs and a sandpit with a bench for the children. There is a fence near the water for the safety of children. On the canal that runs right here, ducks, swans and coots like to come and be fed.
You can easily reach the beach in 5 minutes by bike (which can be rented through the agency). Even if you come by car, there is plenty of free parking space at the beach entrance. The white sandy beach of Callantsoog is something special because, unlike what is usual in North Holland, the beach is located directly behind the dike and can be reached without having to walk long distances through the dunes. There are a total of 5 beach restaurants, some of which are open all year round. Beach loungers, parasols and a windbreak can also be rented on the beach. Adjacent to the beach is the town center of Callantsoog with its old fishing church. The small town offers a lot of shops and restaurants. In addition to a large supermarket with its own parking lot, there are also numerous fashion boutiques, decoration shops, a toy shop and a drugstore. In addition to numerous restaurants (home-style Dutch cuisine, Italian cuisine, fish), Callantsoog is also home to an ice cream parlor with award-winning ice cream and a frozen yogurt café. There is also a farm and a beachcombing museum.

A small children's playing field has been set up in the middle of an island. In Callantsoog, for example, you will find several restaurants and beach pavilions for a nice snack and drink. A supermarket is around the corner for any groceries.
The beach is within walking distance, where many activities are organized during the summer period. Such as a morning horse riding ride or learn to kitesurf at the local kitesurfing school. The many walking and cycling routes through the beautiful dune area lead you to nearby places such as Julianadorp aan Zee and Schoorl.
