This was probably the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The staff was very friendly and helpful, so we could request assistance at any point. Rooms were spacious and clean, bathroom with variety of high quality toiletries. special word for the restaurant. The breakfast served was wonderful. Skilled chefs preparing omelettes and other good local dishes. Recommend to try Deekshas designer omelette with Goan flavours. We ate almost all our meals at the restaurant as it was the best one . For both lunch and dinner we could choose from buffet or a la carte. Amazing choice if deserts every night. The staff created a wonderful holiday experience for us.

The staff at this hotel was excellent and we want to recognize Isha at the front desk who was also a concierge and manageress. Isha exceeded our expectations for providing excellent customer service and attention to detail.She gave us dining suggestions for lunch and dinner and called taxis when we needed one. We were a group of 6 and when we needed a big taxi, she made sure the right one arrived. Accolades to the team at Le Meridien and to Isha.

From the moment we checked in till the time we checked out, we had a most wonderful experience. I liked it overall, however, I haven’t traveled or stayed in five star hotels in India, so I don’t have anything to compare it with. Having said that the service was good. The food was OK, pretty busy at breakfast time. When I checked in, I found hair around the wash basin. if they really want to improve, they might want to concentrate on cleaning their rooms a little better.

Well, the hotel is very convenient to major shops and essential requirements. However the staff at the reception area do not really coordinate well on the check in and check out procedures. Also the music at the pool is too loud and disturbs the rest of the guests who are not at the pool area. Over all the hotel is okay. As not expected from the Le Meriden chain of hotels. Hope this will be helpful to amned some changes.

Over an average property… Not sure if it’s worth the money that we paid. Typical 4 star hotel. Medium-size pool, small gym and facilities. The hotel is in need of a renovation. Carpets are worn and torn in many areas and needs to be replaced. The main building elevator smells of food. If you enter the breakfast buffet (latest recipe), your clothes, smell of food… Maybe there’s a problem with the ventilation and extraction in the buffet restaurant… Would recommend the hotel please take a look at this and address this. The staff at the restaurant were extremely helpful and made special food for my father, who has got many allergies and intolerances. Special kudos to the chef Nitin, who went out of his way to help with special dishes

We had a bad experience to start the holiday by getting stuck in the lift on the first day. The staff sorted this and the lady on reception went over and above to ensure the rest of our stay went smoothly. Breakfast is tasty and plentiful particularly the dosa. The breakfast team were all good and Sonapreet the young lad on the dosa counter always made sure we had everything we wanted and everything we wanted was brought to us.

To start off, the food overall is good. However room service menu hardly has any sea food goan/ local options.. i had to fight my way with multiple people to get a rawa fried prawn to the room immediately upon checking in. Rooms are decent and clean. There were drainage issues in my room which we had to get corrected on the first day itself

Can improve rating by addressing issues
Although overall experience with this property was good, a few pointers can help improve the rating. Cleanliness - There was a constant unpleasant odor in the shower area. Which was brought to notice of the staff yet went unnoticed and never addressed. Even when we asked the staff to spray room fresher, they never addressed the issue. Water collected outside the shower door and the thin doormats did not help curb it. Laundry - Our clothes were returned unwashed with stains and odor , but folded :D Food safety - One of the nights we found unattended food in our room (which we had not ordered). Not sure how long it was left open. Buffet breakfast contained stale yogurt which was not corrected even after informing the staff.

Poor attitude of Swastik, the manager who does not know how to treat senior citizens. Checkin process was cumbersome and had to listen to the lecture of Swastik who will not take pan card for Senior citizens as ID and delayed getting to our rooms. Check out was also bad as the same person will not give late checkout initially in spite of being a Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite. The property itself was OK but the maintenance staff as puttiysoap water down the walking ramp and in the game room at any time leading to multiple slips and fall of my kids.

Had a great stay at the Le Meridien in Calangute - it is very close to some of the best seafood shacks on the beach and Baga Beach is only a short walk along the beach away. The staff at the hotel were fantastic, namely Hemant and Ashley, who really went the extra mile to make our stay memorable be it arranging dinner reservations, transportation, etc. Will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Goa!

Few things went wrong in our stay but the staff, particularly, Mr. Amol worked really hard to make up for it. In the end we left happy. Third floor passage had old stench which spilt over in the rooms. The hotel needs to do something about it.
