Renting bicycles is a popular option in Cahuita. Many rental shops offer affordable rates, and cycling is a fantastic way to explore the town and surrounding areas. There are bike-friendly roads and trails that allow you to easily reach Cahuita National Park or venture further along the coast.

**3. Taxis:**
Taxis are easily available in Cahuita and provide a convenient mode of transportation, especially for longer distances or when you prefer not to walk or bike. Taxi stands can be found in central areas. Some taxis are informal, so it’s recommended to agree on the fare before starting your trip or make sure the taxi uses the meter if it is a red taxi with yellow license plates (official taxis). Our concierge can also arrange taxis for you at a fair rate.

The local bus system in Cahuita is reliable and affordable. You can take buses to nearby towns or attractions from the main bus station, located about **600 meters from the house**. Additional guests are not allowed beyond those specified in the reservation.

7. Damages and Alterations:

Damages or alterations to the property are not permitted. If this occurs, a report may be filed with the relevant authorities and the full security deposit will be withheld.

8. Pets:

Pets are allowed ONLY with prior authorization from the PROPERTY MANAGER. Additional rules apply when bringing pets.

9. Use of Pool and Gardens:

Urinating in the pool or in the gardens is strictly prohibited.

10. Guest Responsibility:

Guests must take care of the property and all items within it during their stay.

11. Property Security:

The house must be locked when leaving, whether going to the beach, dining out, shopping, or doing any other activity.

12. Energy Saving and Safety:

Guests must turn off lights, fans, air conditioning, and the stove or grill when not in use.

13. Substance Use:

The use of narcotics or any substances that alter normal bodily, mental, or behavioral functions is not permitted.

If this occurs, the PROPERTY MANAGER reserves the right to cancel the reservation and request that the guest leave the property immediately.

14. Keys:

When guests are not inside the house, keys must remain in the designated guest lockbox with the code hidden.

If the keys are lost, a $150 fee will be charged to replace the lock.

15. Additional Services:

All additional services (massages, bicycle rentals, tours, private chef services, etc.) must be paid at the time the service is requested.

16. Noise Restrictions:

Noise levels must not exceed 60 decibels at any time, according to residential noise regulations in Costa Rica.

For example, playing loud music, hosting parties, or speaking loudly beyond this limit is not allowed.
