All was great. Until it got to me booking my taxi to the airport. The charger $125 for the ride which was kind of steep. They asked if I wanted to charge cash or credit card. I said credit card. They agreed and further confirmed the driver will take credit card. When we got to the airport he said there was never a credit card machine and it’s only cash. Knowing this facility is extremely organized I highly doubt this was a miscommunication for the driver to say there was never a credit card option. I just felt like the driver wanted to take the immediate cash instead. Disappointing

We love Nobu and really feel it is an amazing property. The service & the staff were phenomenal. They truly made our stay amazing. They really go above and beyond to make your trip memorable, from loading our car with water & towels for our excursions, to preparing room service meals that were not on the menu. Nothing was a big ask and they did everything to accommodate us. The only negatives were the location and the beach situation . The location is a bit isolated and it takes about 20 minutes to get off the property. The beach is not swimmable, but the heated pools offset it. But it’s definitely a destination on its own. We will definitely return.

Customer service was outstanding. The room & accomodations were impeccable. The ambiance of hotel was serene, peaceful & relaxing. The dining options were ALL amazing & varied. I am planning to go back in December. The experience was pricey, expensive but definitely worth it.

We were impressed the moment we arrived. The property was serene, beautiful and absolutely magnificent. Lovely pools; restaurants; spa treatments. Everything Zen like and to perfection. The staff was friendly, helpful and extremely polite. We must give a special thanks to our local Ambassador, Mr. Alan Santiago. Alan was exceedingly helpful; from dinner reservations, to arranging car service; Alan saw to every detail and met every need. We were grateful to have such a knowledgeable guide. We had to wait for a room to be ready and were left sitting on a couch. The restaurants are hard to make reservations for and the limited, pricey menus were a turn off. We took taxis to Cabo and Old San Jose each day for meals and activities. The iPad in the room never worked for ordering a taxi, so we had to call down or notify the bell man. The pool and workout facility were nice, but we felt a little isolated with the location of the property.

This property had no facilities besides spa and a fitness center. To get to the hotel itself from the main road is about a 15 minute drive. The food is so ridiculously expensive and it is nothing special. I paid $40 for a chicken salad and $ 60 for a regular burger. This property purposely price gouges because there is nowhere else in the area that you can eat so you really have no choice.

This place is the cleanest hotel with amenities I have ever seen in my 61 years on this planet ..workers constantly cleaning, Everyone offering assistance whether it is at the pool, walking the grounds or at your room .. this is truly a 5 star resort . If I had to come up with a criticism, it would be the lack of commercial stores and availability of snacks, which caters more towards kids, but it’s clear they are aiming at people that are out for a luxury experience without the hustle and bustle of running around, but instead, just relaxing in style and comfort.. ….

The resort is amazing. Having stayed at several vacation properties in this general tier, I can say the resort itself/facilities are basically as good as it gets. Truly phenomenal. On site restaurants were also fantastic (albeit very expensive, and make reservations!). Also pretty kid friendly for our 3 year old. That said, service level was a step below what I’d expect from a resort of this level. Nothing bad at all, the service is objectively good, but I did not experience “above and beyond” bend-over-backwards-without-you-asking service I’ve received at Ritz, Four Seasons, St. Regis, etc. resorts at a similar price point. Only other knocks against it is because of geography, it’s windy, and you can’t actually swim in the ocean, and the gym can get crowded at peak times. Overall a great resort and I would definitely go back!
