The room and facilities were fine, but the handling of my request was disappointing and didn’t match what I paid for."

"An outdated hotel with sub-par service. No smiles throughout the stay, no nice small talk, no human connection. I asked the concierge for a booking in a upscale Chinese restaurant and he booked me Hakkasan, what a joke. From the start there was no help with the luggage, unwillingness to even pretend to care from the receptionist and this was the standard throughout the stay. The house keeper kept on waking us up and even proceeded to call the room even when the do not disturb sign was on. The minibar had such a repugnant smell of Durian that we had to evacuate the room for a few hours and never open it again. The only bright spot of this entire stay was the bar, which was beautiful and served delicious cocktails. I recommend staying somewhere else and visiting the bar separately. "

"My 3rd stay in 2024 and always go to hotel when travelling to Shanghai for work, metro is 150m walk and 5 stops away from Shanghai Train station, making day trip to nearby town easy. Lots of small shops and shopping malls nearby. Staffs are helpful to bring my online delivery to the room. "
