«We booked babbling Brooke for a family break 4 adults and 2 children.Henry greeted us in arrival and was so helpful and lovely. He showed us round and explained how to use the hot tub. We were also left a little welcome pack of goodies. The barn it's self is outstanding, beautifully decorated and furnished. The woodfire hottub is lovely. If your looking for a peaceful break this is just perfect.We can't wait to go back»

«A characterful converted cow shed with roof beams, but decorated in a modern way with all you need, and a free jug of milk.The bed was comfortable, and there was a wet room shower.I could not see any way to open a window, which I would have liked, and the Wifi only worked in half the room, which I mentioned to the owner.We were welcomed and again had goodbye said to us as we left, which was friendly.We prefer a separate bed room as one of us gets up very early, but it was OK for one night.A ...

«The cottage is in a good location for walks and visiting interesting towns without travelling far.The lounge and kitchen area is comfortable. The bedroom less so due to one side of the bed being against the wall.»

«Lovely holiday get away, horse stables on the working farm was lovely, was a shame my maltipoo dog did not feel the same way. Great value for money. Bottle of wine was very much appreciated.»

«A very clean, comfortable cottage, spacious and well equipped with everything that you need. Cosy and warm. Great walks from the door, beautiful area with all that the Derbyshire dales has to offer. There is a friendly pub across the road where we enjoyed a pint but only serving meals at weekends currently. 10 minute walk into the village where another pub, also friendly (the black swan) serves food but with a limited menu. There is an Indian restaurant where we enjoyed an excellent meal one of ...

«I go away with work most weeks and this has to be up there with one of the best places I have stayed in. Would love to come back in the summer. I’ve now booked up for my third successive week. The kitchen is perfect, plenty of work space and well laid out. Bit of confusion over the microwave until I realised it was built into the oven. Maybe do with a washing machine. Great surroundings and a great place to stay.»

«We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. Everything was spotless and beautifully presented, and the heating was already on when we arrived which made it feel instantly welcoming. The host communicated brilliantly throughout and made everything very easy. The cottage had every amenity you could need, with thoughtful touches like coffee, tea, biscuits, milk, and even board games. The location was perfect as well, right next to the pub. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!»

«We had a great time at Rose Cottage. Perfect for a long weekend. Generally very clean but lots of dog hairs on the floor. Heating was very responsive, kitchen well equipped. Could do with a drying rack for the draining board and some tumbler sized glasses. Lovely soft towels and bedding, great shower. Best fish and chips ever from Robinsons over the road. Parking a bit tricky at times but all in all a lovely time!»
