We were very excited for the price we paid prior to our stay because the reviews and pictures looked good. As soon as we pulled into the driveway we were underwhelmed by the overall look of the place. The man at the front desk was nice and the check in was normal. Our room as we entered was musty and a bit stinky of old smoke. The smell subsided after running the air for a few hours. Overall the room looked clean but there were scratch marks in the paint, the floors left our feet dirty, and there were cracks/ missing pieces of trim. We were also surprised at the lack of usual things in the room: no clock, no bedside light, no outlets near the bed, no hair dryer, no tissue, no hand soap. I have a cpap and wasn’t sure how I was going to plug it in but thankfully my partner had an extension cord in their car, so we ran it across the room to use. The bed was just ok. The pillows were TERRIBLE. The water was hot for showers but the tub was dangerously slippery; we ended up putting a towel down in the tub to make it safe.
Overall, it was an ok stay and ok place that we made work because it fit our budget for this trip.
