⭐☆☆☆☆ – Unacceptable Basic Amenities & Worse Customer Service
I booked three rooms at the Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel for myself and my staff. After 15 hours of travel and working long days, I discovered that my room does not have hot water — a basic amenity that any hotel is expected to provide.
The hotel’s response was to offer to send a plumber into my room. That is completely unacceptable. I slept maybe three hours over two days and do not have the time, energy, or patience to sit in my hotel room supervising maintenance work that should never be necessary in the first place.
I asked for a simple, reasonable resolution:
Move me to a room with hot water, or
Issue a refund
They refused to offer either.
This is not a complicated issue, and the solution is obvious. The fact that management would rather argue than fix a basic problem tells me everything I need to know about how this hotel treats its guests.
I would never stay here again and would never recommend this hotel to anyone, especially business travelers. I genuinely don’t understand how this property has good reviews when they can’t handle a straightforward customer service issue with common sense or accountability.
Hot water is not a luxury — it’s the bare minimum.
