The front door leads from the covered veranda directly into the open-plan living area with a sofa, armchair, flat screen TV and dining table. The fitted kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and a Moka coffee maker, making self-catering a breeze.

Stairs lead from the living area up to the bedrooms.

Location
The resort of Budoni is known for its 18km of unspoiled beaches and clear seas. It is quieter than its neighbour, San Teodoro (15 minutes), but there are several good restaurants and bars in the town. For self-catering, Budoni has a weekly market on Wednesday mornings. Alternatively, there is a supermarket just a 1-minute drive from the property.

San Teodoro offers kitesurfing, windsurfing, scuba diving and snorkelling. Throughout the summer, the town hosts the Coclearia night market, with street performers, market stalls and musical events.

The island of Tavolara is well worth a day trip for hiking, swimming and lunch at the famous Da Tonino restaurant. Its smaller neighbour Isola Molara, is a privately owned nature reserve and is a great opportunity to escape and hike through unspoiled nature. There are ferry trips and boat excursions from Porto Ottiolu (10 minutes) just up the coast.

Olbia’s Costa Smeralda Airport is just a 30-minute drive.
