The cabin was just as advertised and all amenities were in working order. We had a wonder, relaxing time in this beautiful and scenic place. We fully enjoyed the short distance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and all the memories we created. Thank you for a worry free and relaxing stay.

The entire cabin was clean and cozy. The hot tub was on the small side but that's normal my husband is 6'5 and our son is 6' I'm 5'3" our daughter didn't even get in and it was tight. This in no way took away from our stay. The host was extremely responsive even to the situation we experienced during our stay. The drive up our first night was unsettling since it was around 9pm, it was dark. We had no idea what we navigated until the morning and y'all I'm glad nobody was driving towards us. That was an experience in itself. Yes the water is a funky color but it's a well. Its to be expected we still showered, brushed our teeth, washed dishes and did 2 small loads of laundry over 3.5 days. We did lose water on the morning of the 12th. Even after being mindful of our usage. Still not sure what happened but the hosts are making it right. The hosts are extremely responsive, understanding and quick. The beds were comfortable. This cabin literally has everything to get you through your stay minus food. We brought instant coffee because we weren't sure of the coffee situation. There was a small starter pouch of coffee in the cabin and it was really good. They even provided k cups and an assortment of sweeteners. The waterfall was beautiful. The hike to it kicks my behind since I'm out of shape but it was worth it. We slipped a couple of times coming back down but no injuries other than my pride. We would definitely stay here again.

Dragonfly Cabin

Dragonfly cabin was tranquil, cozy, and encompassed solitude. Everything was in working order and the property manager was very responsive. Property was clean and had all of the necessary ammenities for a relaxing vacation. Recommendation for future renters is to bring extra dish soap, paper goods, laundry soap, and baking pans etc as the cabin only has a small supply on hand.

Great stay!

This cabin was clean and comfortable! It was a nice spot in the mountains but still convenient to get to Bryson City and Cherokee! It had all the amenities we needed and we really enjoyed our time here!

Loved our stay

Hurricane Helene came through but we made it to the cabin. Electric was off when we got there but wasn't off long. No Internet or direct TV we watched recordings on DVR. It rained most of the weekend but was so nice and quiet. All we heard was the waterfall out back. Beware though you will need 4 wheel. to get to the cabin. Can't wait to go again rain or shine

Secluded

Secluded and clean property. Great for pets. The drive in is a little bit of a challenge, but i consider that part of the adventure. Had some issues with the water, but it was took care of immediately.

Really nice place to stay

The cabin was great I loved the swing over looking the creek It was nice and clean the only problem was no Internet or Tv service My family daughter and brother we’re trying to make sure I made it there safe I tried several times to connect to Internet only to find out from office when I went into town there was no Internet that would have made a difference The office knew I was checking in a day earlier I needed to let my family know I made it safely My brother called the Police Dept to do a well fare check to make sure I made it there safely also my daughter got a hold of owners of the cabin and they were coming to make sure I made it Once they found out I made it they didn’t have to come You should let people know no internet

Heaven on Earth

I am a waterfall fiend. I chose this place because of the waterfall in the back yard. It's more like a cascading stream, but it's so beautiful! If you hike up the trail next to it, you can see so many of the areas where it drops down forming pools in some areas. My husband and I left the windows open at night so we could listen to the rushing water. Internet and land line are listed in the description. Neither one was working when we were there. A very important tip, 4 wheel drive would definitely be a good call. We were in a mid sized truck and had a bit of an issue. It was all worth it though to spend time in this secluded, quaint little cabin in the mountains.

Gorgeous view

Arrived early, fell in love with location even though drive up to cabin is steep, breath taking waterfall. Even though I had family emergency and couldn't stay I absolutely loved the place. The owner is awesome and very gracious.

Solitude and Peaceful Getaway!

Wow! I brought my pups for a getaway from busy city life to the Great Smokey Mountains! The Firefly cabin was equipped with everything I needed and the hot tub was a bonus! I cooked two great dinners in the kitchen. The well water from the faucet and clear and delicous. Firewood is provided for outside fire. Sweet loveseat swing faces a trickling swing to enjoy the sounds and sights of nature. Secluded enough to allow the dogs to run. Only steps away from the door, I walked the dogs on mountain hike, too! The path is wide and moderately steep to take in the mountain top views and enjoy the freah air. I highly recommend the Firefly cabin for rest and relaxation! Make sure to visit historic Bryson City- quaint shops, reataurants, railroad history, aquarium and a museum. The Walgreens wss big help for me to pick up dog food and a Bryaon City T-shirt, too!

Excellent cabin

The cabin was wonderful. It was very clean. Kitchen had good pots and pans needed to cook with. The pictures in the add do not do it justice. I was worried it would be very small. The livingroom, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were all nice sizes. I have stayed in quite a few cabins, this one by far was the nicest. It was nicer than some large chain hotels. Great place to get away from it all!!! Hot tub was clean and nice. Can't say enough a out it. Hope to do it again

Seclusion, check!

Recommend 4-wheel drive vehicle to get to the house but it is very secluded, can only hear the creek and woods when enjoying the hot tub or swing outside. Appliances worked well, beds were comfy, roughly 20-25 min to Bryson City, and land line phone available in case you don't have cell phone service (T-Mobile coverage stopped 5 min after getting off the highway).

Peace and Calming

Our second visit to Dragonfly. Perfect getaway for us during a beautiful time of year. Sitting by the fire at night, with the soothing sounds of water as a continual background. Lovely and private. Left a note so that the light switch out on the back will get repaired for safety issues at night and getting in and out of the hot tub. The only cleanliness issue was the screen porch needed blowing or brushing out and cobwebs removed, I almost did it myself and then figured I was on vacation, so it didn't bother us, after all it was a porch! Will book again.

The cabin was wonderful – the hot tub and scenery sublime – the surroundings incomprehensible! But the half mile into and up the rest of the mountain - then that driveway! Roller coasters were not necessary! We had a blast!
