«I gave it a 3 out of 5 because the facility generally did a decent job. Rooms were clean, desk agent was pleasant and helpful. While I expected a pet fee, I thought it was high and concluded that after our experience, they didn't do much to earn it. Plus, it was not easy to determine whether the hotel was pet friendly on the Expedia site and there was no mention of a pet fee that I could find and I actively looked. «I was provided a renovated room by the front counter attendant. A/C worked, sheets and pillows were clean. Bathroom clean. So room was the best it could be. That said, lipstick on a pig is still a pig. The 'motor inn' is a dump. But what do you expect for $74/85? Absolutely zero amenities. No breakfast. OK if you're just passing thru.»

«Excellent! Cannot say enough good things about our stay at the Stanton House Inn. The property is meticulously maintained, the house is as gracious and welcoming as the staff. Our room was spotless, comfortable and well appointed with a mix of modern touches and lovely antiques. The staff is the heart of the home, warm and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious—healthy options as well as homemade indulgences.
