Serene House with Charm on Golfcourse!

This fabulous house is located on the Briarcrest Country Club Golf Course (now named the Phillips Event Center) in Bryan. Situated at the end of a quiet cul de sac, the house feels like a lovely respite. Five sliding glass doors bring inside the serenity of the woods and golf course, and lead to patios and a deck perfect for relaxing, whether it be coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening! This house is a hidden gem, comfortable and private, but with quick access to everything including shopping, restaurants, medical facilities and schools. If you enjoy golf or tennis, the public golf course clubhouse is a short walk up the street. The house is located at the 7th Tee.
Built in 1974, and comprised of 2181 square feet, there are four beautiful bedrooms which sleep 8 comfortably, and three full baths. An air mattress is provided if bedding is needed for a couple more guests.
Slightly vintage to its roots, the house was designed by famed 1950's California architect Cliff May and has an easy vibe with the outside coming in, natural and green, a unique feature! The house exudes calm, pretty, and relaxing! You'll see, come and try it!
We've owned this property which was our home, since 2002, and many important things have been updated to include: a new on-demand hot water heater system to accommodate your whole party's needs when showering before an event, and upon a suggestion from a previous guest, the living room now boasts a 65-inch Smart-tv, bigger and better for watching football games! The kitchen has a new electric ceramic cooktop and new GE double oven, all changes made to improve guests' experience. The bathrooms now have lovely white granite countertops which my repeat guests will immediately notice and appreciate!
The bedrooms and kitchen are well appointed to meet all guests' needs. With memory foam mattresses on platform type beds, Egyptian cotton linens, plush spa bath towels, matching dishes set for 12, matching wineglasses, brand new pots and pans for the new cooktop, our goal is your comfort, convenience and pleasure. The spacious living room has a gorgeous leather couch and loveseat set, and the dining room a lovely dining table with ample seating. Not to be forgotten, there is a wooden deck off of the master and back bedrooms to relax on with coffee in the morning or wine in the evening while visiting with friends and family or watching nature or a few golfers on the course. Additionally, there's a patio with furniture right off the living area. A fire pit and grill are also available outside.
As for the rules: HAVE FUN. The artwork was obtained over trips through the years, so please take care. I am housing part of my father's library, so please do not disturb. We have wonderful retiree neighbors which is the reason parties and events are not permitted, so please be respectful. The house is really great for multi-generational family gatherings since it is all on one level. The house is a short walk to Bryan High School, 1.5 miles to the Brazos Center, 5 miles to Veteran's Park, 7.5 miles to Texas A&M University, and 14 miles to Santa's Wonderland! The neighborhood opens onto Briarcrest Drive which leads to Hwy 6 (the By-pass), and fast access to anywhere, whether that be Texas A&M University, or Messina Hof Winery!
