Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist ein altes Haus mit knarrenden Holzdielen. Sehr hübsch. Bad ist neu gewesen. In guter Fußlage zur Innenstadt mit Parkplätzen im Hof.Der Gastgeber ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Frühstück ist gut und reichlich. Es gibt ein paar Restaurants direkt in der Nähe (Reservierung immer empfohlen!) und zwei Supermärkte. Die Unterkunft ist zu empfehlen!

The hotelier was extremely welcoming, available for all issues, very friendly and helpful across multiple languages The staircase to the family room was very steep & tricky with a large suitcase Also the pathway outside was uneven and my daughter tripped over at night Otherwise the guesthouse was wonderful. Quiet neighbourhood in walking distance of Bruges with a lovely owner

Quaint haven
This is the kind of place you visit once and then always look forward to coming again. A quiet, calm guest-house which makes you feel somehow separate from the rest of the world. The owner is very friendly, always helpful and ready to provide advice and suggestions about the city. Rooms are clean and well-equipped, breakfast always delicious. If you're looking for a place where time seems to have stopped for a while, don't hesitate.

God beliggenhed i grønne omgivelser. Smuk lille perle i gammel stil. Hyggelige og charmerende værelser. Personlig værtsskab og gæstfrihed i særklasse. God morgenmad med lidt for en hver smag.

Very Satisfied
The guest house in itself is ideal. located about 20-25 mins walk from the city centre for restaurants museums and shopping. On rainy days there are four restaurants close by and a Supermarket 5 mins walk away. Hans the owner is very personable and full of Bruges knowledge. Very good breakfast......it is difficult to find fault with this guest house.

This is a lovely guesthouse and the owners were extremely helpful and hospitable. The breakfast and personalised service were delightful and our only criticism was that in the shower water came out of both the overhead shower head and the hand held shower head but that may have been due to my lack of operating knowledge.

Fantastic older home but with updated clean & modern rooms. The host Hans makes you feel at home and helps set you up for a beneficial strategic tour of Bruges with the benefit of his long association with the town. The breakfast is fantastic also. There is a bit of a walk from the B&B to the center of town (10-15 minutes). Parking right on sight. Carrefours (Major store) right around the corner to help you address some travel necessities at some of the lowest prices around.

We had fine beds in spacious room overlooking garden...the host explained town and sites so we could walk Brugge easily...all ended with superb breakfastwhich inclyded gluten free bread for my wife

This is a nice cottage sort of lodging with much local flavor. The manager is very helpful & gave us a description of the sights & F&B available in Brugge & nearby. Brugge is about 20 to 25 mins walking distance. There is a Carrefour nearby if you need to get water & groceries. Breakfast provided is very good as well.

Wunderschönes Gästehaus mit sehr schönen , modernen Zimmern im flämischen Stil. Sehr nette Gastgeber und beim check in eine ausführliche Einführung in die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt. 10 Minuten Gehzeit bis zum Stadtzentrum.

A very nice and comfortable hotel outside the city centre, situated in a quiet garden. Very welcoming and a good breakfast. The only thing that would improve it for an English visitor would be tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms.

Great location in a comfortable hotel.
Great place to visit. Hotel is in a good location, 15 min walk into the city. We arrived early and the owner allowed us to park the car in the onsite car park, informed us of the local attractions and then told us to come back at our leisure.

Nettes Hotel nahe Brügge-Zentrum
Das Hotel ist ca. 10-20 Gehminuten von Brügge-Zentrum entfernt. Wir haben die Strecke als nicht allzu lang empfunden. Nebenan ist auch ein Supermarkt (Carrefour) gelegen, an welchem man bequem bspw. Wasser für einen Tagestrip kaufen kann. Das Hotel ist etwas älter (das Inventar könnte mal wieder aufgefrischt werden), aber insgesamt in einem sauberen und guten Zustand. Wir haben im Service das Frühstück mit eingeplant und es hat uns gut geschmeckt. Nachschub war - zumindest im Februar - auch genügend vorhanden, ich kann die teilweise negativen Erfahrungen leider nicht teilen (kann aber sein, dass es zur Hauptsaison anders aussieht, weil das Hotel ein Zwei-Personen-Betrieb ist). Wir haben vom Eigentümer auch viele hilfreiche Tipps bekommen, was in Brügge unbedingt besichtigt werden muss und sind mit seinen Empfehlungen gut gefahren. Einziges Manko für uns war das Bett. Am Bettkopf war direkt der Sims des Fensters gelegen (ca. 10 cm höher). Wenn man nicht aufpasst, kann man hier den Kopf böse anstoßen, was dem Schlafgefühl nicht unbedingt gut tut...

Friendly family-owned B&B in excellent location
We were greeted with great tips regarding the area and places to visit from the get go – a first for us! Moreover, we received a discount card for visiting museums and even renting bikes. The breakfast was always fresh and offered a good variety. The walk into town only takes some 15 minutes. Parking spaces in front of the hotel, as well as nice dining options. The rooms were being upgraded as we were there (newer TVs from what we could gather), always a plus! The en-suite bathroom was top-notch, should be included in the official pictures as well!

Es un lugar magnífico!
Solo estuve una noche pero la atención y el servicio fue la mejor! El lugar es pequeño, íntimo, rodeado de jardines y a pocos minutos a pie del centro de Bruges. La habitación es espaciosa, bien iluminada, con camas cómodas y el baño es grande y funcional. El caballero que nos recibió fue muy amable y respondió a todas nuestras dudas. El desayuno fue muy completo en un ambiente de lo más agradable. Regresaré a este lugar en mi próxima visita, sin dudarlo.

Perfection!
The Gasthof Groenhove is an imposing luxury establishment set in extensive grounds yet very close to the historic centre of the world's most beautiful city, Bruges.My wife and I have just had two 2-night stays and both of our rooms were of 5 star standard, the beds were both very comfortable and large and the bathrooms were superb with abundant hot water. The views from the large windows are of the immaculate gardens and it is difficult to believe the hotel is in a city. Both of our rooms were beautiful,enormous,light and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stays in this wonderful hotel!

Great location in a quit area, easy walk into Bruges centre. Fantastic knowledgeable host Hans made us feel welcome and spent time to point out all the must do things in the area. Great breakfast would definitely stay again. Worked well for a family of five

Just out of town hotel but good for getting around
We went to Bruge for a two night stay and were made very welcome by the owner and and although we arrived in the morning and were too early to get into our rooms we were given lots of information as to how to get into town and what to see. It was about 20 mins walking into the city so we left the car and did everyone on foot. Very comfortable hotel with ample continental breakfast.

Tres bon accueil. Le propriétaire nous a donné toutes les informations et visites à faire pour rendre notre séjour agréable. Hotel à 30 bonnes minutes à pied du centre mais possibilité de se rapprocher et de garer sa voiture gratuitement. Finalement il est plus agréable d’être dans ce petit hôtel que de loger dans le centre qui est un piège à touristes. Le petit déjeuner standard dommage qu'il ne soit pas typique de la région comme tout bon touriste s'attend à avoir dans ces petits hôtels. L'ambiance du petit déjeuner est agréable et le patron très attentif aux clients. Chambre très correcte. la télé pourrait être remplacée ce qui serait plus agréable pour les enfants. Je recommande cet hôtel qui doit être très tres agréable en période printemps et été
