Romantic Splash Brand New 1 Bedroom Efficiency Cabin, near Broken Bow Lake

Come experience the Romantic Splash Cabin nestled in the woods with no highway noise but near enough to all the major restaurants, Lake and Parks. Built in 2021, it has one bedroom with good size barn door style closet and one bathroom with walk-in shower. Have sweet dreams on a very comfortable bed and pillows that are both covered with protective liner, an extra protection from particles that might cause you an allergy.

Romantic Splash features a fully loaded kitchen with Premium appliances including stainless stove, built-in microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, two coffee makers, toaster, crock pot, rice cooker, baking and cooking utensils and a large farmhouse sink. Good open flow floor plan, complete with Smart TV, Bluetooth Speaker and tablet, for internet and music. The vaulted ceilings will give you extra windows to admire the beautiful pine and oak trees. Enjoy the views of matured trees from the deck with seating areas, outdoor TV and wood fireplace.

There is a dining area by the hot tub for those al fresco meals.

A favorite feature of the Romantic Splash is the 6 person Free Flo tub that has hydrotherapy jets, a waterfall and a jumbo color changing led light, the perfect way to relax while on vacation.

Internet Connection and a Washer/Dryer are bonus features of this brand new Cabin.

All linens are provided as well as terry towels plus extra linens in the closet if you want to change it during your stay. We also provide complimentary goodies such as coffee, creamer, sugar, cookies and wine. We throw away all the unused supply from our previous guest and replace it with fresh stock to ensure our guest’s safety. We also provide all your soaps for both the bath and kitchen.

Needs improvement

Overall this wasn’t all that bad. It just wasn’t what I expected and I don’t believe it was priced appropriately for the reasons below. The pictures must have been from when this property was new. Currently there is a very tall and unsightly fence/wall across from it that takes away from the overall atmosphere. The hot tub is older. The jets were not pumping correctly (really low) and the water seemed over treated chemically (made us cough several times if we caught too much in our breath). Inside, the floor is a cheap roll out type vinyl flooring. The furniture is all relatively older and seat cushions were used to cover the original stained dining chair cushions. There were screw holes in the bathroom wall in several places where a shelf or hook apparently used to be. There were brackets in the bathroom wall that appeared likely to relate to another towel holder, but the bar was missing. One of the sliding shower doors was missing the roller, so it wasn’t working right. The wall paint below the shower head was peeling away. The bedroom had more screw holes in the wall where a shelf was supposed to be next to one side of the bed (but was missing) and a couple more screw holes in another part of the wall. The door handle was very loosely in place for the door to the patio from the bedroom. The main door bottom handle lock did not work. There were no interior deadbolts for use so anyone with a code to the door could come in if they wanted. “Brand new”is an inaccurate title.

Cozy but needs a little love.

Much smaller than the photos make it out to be. Not same couch as pictured. Hot tub was stuck at 105 degrees and the jets did not work. Cabin was cute, but needs a little TLC. It rained most of our stay and not much to do in cabin. No TV in bedroom, in case your like me and need the sound for sleep.

Great stay

Everything was very enjoyable with many positives. It was very clean, organized, easy check-in/check-out process, and great location. However, we were unable to use the hot tub because the temperature was locked at 106 degrees. Also, there were several wasps nests throughout the porch. The wasps were all over the outside of the cabin. Overall had a great time.

Little piece of nature at its best!

We loved sitting on the back porch in the evening watching the lighting bug show in the woods. We found blueberries and muscadines on the property as well. It was a great little place to stay!!

Nice little cabin

Nice little cabin right on edge of town. Down a gravel road and up a hill but wasn’t bad on motorcycles. We loved the fire place on the front porch with TV. We spend most of our night out there since it was raining. Enjoyed hottub also. Great place for a getaway.

Perfect!

The cabin was the perfect size for 2 people. Hot tub was amazingly hot🤩 a little too hot for my man’s liking🤣 the fire bot is great to make s’mores and watch movies around! Would definitely go back!

Nice location, uncomfortable bed.

The place was smaller than the pictures let on- the bed is a FULL and NOT a queen which I wish had been specified in the description. Also, bed is very soft and mattress sags, not ideal for anyone with a bad back. The couch had a support that was broken in the frame and the seats angled down in a way that made it uncomfortable to sit on. If you don't plan on spending much time in bed or inside, then I don't think either thing would be an issue. But for me, it was enough to garner 3 stars instead of 4 or 5. Everything was very clean and tidy. The outdoor area and fireplace were great to have. There are nearby cabins but with all the trees, it felt very private. The description made it seem like shampoo/soap/etc would be provided and replaced between visits but there were only full size, multiple-use shampoo and conditioner when we got there. Lol

Romantic Splash is accurate!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very cozy, kitchen had plenty of dishes and equipment, and the hot tub was so nice and easy to use. The cabin was also easy to find which is nice. It is smaller than it appears in the pictures, so be ready to get really close! And it's not quite as isolated as the pictures make it seem, but still we weren't bothered by any of the nearby cabins and felt very private at all times. The only disappointment... Burn ban kept us from enjoying the fire pit and outdoor fireplace.

Honeymoon!

Had a wonderful time! The cabin had everything we needed The only issues were narrow roads and parking for my truck and boat. Had to step up my back-up skills. Also the lake is very low and there weren’t any docks at boat ramps in our area making it difficult to load and unload the boat.

Cute space

We didn’t get any check in instructions before our arrival. Went to the address on the listing but it was another company. Called a few times before getting in contact with anyone, but did soon after and was sent instructions. That didn’t take very long but was a bit frustrating initially (no the prior instructions didn’t go to spam either). Overall the place was great and super clean. It had everything we needed and was quiet. I’d definitely recommend it.
