«The most important reason to choose this hotel is the location which is superb. This hotels reminds me of a cheap London hotel in the past. Carpets all over, and interior from the 60. The reason the reviews are so mixed, is because some of the rooms have been updated, others have not. So it’s like a lottery. The AC works but the window needs to be open and you need to empty the water every 6-7 hours. New AC in the new rooms though. Parking is great, just down the stairs in the basement. Enough ...

«We chose to stay at the Sunset due to its location and walkability to Stanley Park, the museum, Vancouver Aquarium, Granville Island and the downtown area as a whole. We flew into Vancouver late in the evening and the staff ensured that we had the info to gain entrance to the hotel and our room by emailing it to us earlier that day.
