«Buckhood cottage had everything needed, clean and functional. The kitchen was a good size with the best view to look at while washing up. Beds were comfy and slept very well. Only issue was the shower, very low pressure and runs scorching hot and freezin cold. Overall a very good stay. Xxx»

«Had a lovely weekend staying at Birnie Cottage. Aileen was great at giving information prior to our arrival and gave us a lovely welcome with scones, butter and jam. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and we were lucky enough to be able to sit out 2 evenings enjoying the sun and the garden. «This property was exactly as expected and really good value. The location is lovely and really convenient for hiking, mountain biking and all the area has to offer. Ballater is very close (less than 10 min cycle). Interior is exactly as in the photos. Plenty of space for boots, coats etc. Comfortable beds with lovely linen. »

«for us it was a relaxing environment in a very busy week. Our participation in the Royal Deeside golf week could not be better than from this beautiful house. in the house everything is present and clean. The access road to the house can be a problem for low cars, in our case it resulted in a flat tire due to the loose stones.»

«Wonderful cottage in a great location with which to explore the Cairngorms. The cottage itself was clean, bright, easy to find, and had everything you could need. Check in was easy and the owners were very helpful and communicative.
